The Fortress Sports Fund, you can tell Bills into theatre with this piece, money in new york and the man to give the nod in new zealand? howFucking romantic....

The group of investors promising to pump £30m into
Everton have revealed the money should be in the Goodison Park club's
    bank account by Christmas.

Chris Samuelson, head of the Brunei-based Fortress Sports Fund, has
given Everton written confirmation this week that the deal is still to
    go ahead.

"Yes we have the money, yes it is being processed and yes, Everton will have it as soon as possible," said Samuelson.

"Money transfers are complicated and these things take time."

He added: "In fact the consortium was over-subscribed, but the money is being paid in
dollars from New York and the man who has the final say on its release is in New
    Zealand.

"We actually have the money in our account but we are now waiting for the final agreement to set up the fund in Brunei.

"Cash transfers can take three or four days, and I hope it is with Everton by Christmas."

An initial £12.8m was supposed to be in Everton's hands on Monday, the
last day of a two-week extension that the club had given FSF at
    November's annual general meeting.

When that deadline passed, the fund's "exclusivity" was ended and it was possible for other consortiums to open negotiations.

    Kings Dock:

EVERTON have been given permission to build a 55,000-capacity stadium on the Mersey waterfront at King's Dock.

The club have six months to prove the £155 million scheme is viable and put the finance in place but Bill Kenwright, the Everton owner and deputy chairman, is confident the move will go ahead.

Kenwright said: "We have the opportunity to have the finest
arena, the finest football stadium, in the world - it's mind-blowing.
Every time we look it gets better. There is a real vision behind these
plans and I aim to ensure that vision becomes a reality.

"We have spent a great deal of time on these plans already
and visited a number of other arenas around the world, like the
Amsterdam ArenA, to give us a better idea of what we are working with.
The experts have told us in no uncertain terms it can be a success. I'm
    very excited.

"I'm sure Arsenal or Leeds, who are also working towards new stadiums, would be delighted to have the opportunity we now have. We are not going to let this chance pass us by."

Paul Gregg, an Everton director, said: "The key to the
success of the King's Dock is to create a major attraction of
international significance on the waterfront, raising the profile of
Liverpool while providing the facilities for local, regional and
    international visitors."

Everton will hope the building of the stadium, about five
miles from Goodison Park, goes smoother than yesterday's announcement in
an office block housing a Titanic exhibition.

A promotional video opened with a shot of Francis Jeffers, who joined Arsenal last month,
while, within moments of Kenwright's closing speech, an information
panel broke free of its wall mounting and crashed to the floor.

Everton hope to be playing at their new home by 2005. The
new stadium - yet to be named but likely to include a corporate sponsor
in its title - will boast a sliding roof, moving tiers of seats and a
    retractable pitch.

Everton have already encountered fierce objections from
residents of the affluent Albert Dock area near the proposed site and
potential traffic and parking problems at the riverside venue have
    become a major issue.

The development will including parking space for just 2,800
cars and there will only be one major road in and out of the complex.

Everton, meanwhile, have rejected Middlesbrough's offer of £3 million plus Paul Ince for defender Michael Ball.

Stop going the game which a lot are now doing, people need to face facts there is no buyer or investment coming Bill will blame the Blue Union for that (he'd blame them for him being blagged by that lad from the flat in manchester if he could).

There is no buyer coming either who is willing to part with 500 million plus for new players, stadium, debts, lawnmowers and computers.

By not going the game we will strangle the club but eh its at deaths door already but by doing so will be a bigFuck you to kenwright ,earl and the other clowns on the board when admin comes and their investments gone.

Anyone who expects either serious debate or to not look like a c**t when they entitle the thread 'for all the Kenwright bummers' deserve a slap.
I am far from ignorant of any of the linked items but I see more ignorance from the abusive BU followers than I do from any other Everton fans including the chariman and that is saying a lot.

Entertaining reading. Someone asked for a solution on a previous post which didn't involve a billionaire. Here we have it, stop going to the games. Brilliant by destroying the revenue stream and sending Everton under we will get rid of Bill. The fact that none of us get to watch them any longer or if we do it will be in the lower league at least we got Bill out. THe 2 words Nose and Face come to mind.

I am not a big BK fan. He has not done himself any favours when speaking publicly tthe last couple of years but he is in a can't win situation because of the "village idiots". Anyone who is involved in business especially real estate will know that deals are not done until contracts are signed and even then things can go wrong. Its not a case of lying or misleading by Bill. Therefore the best thing Bill can do is not say anything until its concluded. O wait thats what he is doing now and everyone is now complaining that nothing is transparent.

I want Bill to sell to the right person but that doesn't seem possible. He might be asking too much but that is his right. Since he has been in charge we have moved forward and achieved better results (regularly in the top half).

Did you not read it properly dumbarse? Everton are finished anyway so instead of prolonging the mongs on the board and their constant failures and waiting for the inevitable relegation which will come in the next 4/5 years whats a more perfect way to do the board in? Hitting them in their pockets. I don't expect a one game a season wool like you to understand whats going on at Everton anyway.....
