Over ten years as a premiership manager and no silver ware. DM done a great job first 6 yrs but he has gone stale and we are on a downward spiral and playing really boring football. He says he cant play 442 because he hasent got the players, but its all his team. BK says I will back the manager if he wants a player? RE says everton manager has spent money over last six years. DM has made is bed he has signed and sold players, its his team. I would like to see new management put in place first choice Andy Gray with Asst Reid or Ferguson or may be Brendan Rogers , Lee clark.

I watch a lot of football but when you see Swansea, Norwich, Newcastle playing better football than us without spending a lot of cash its plain to see we need a change.

Ten yrs without silverware is not premature, so youre happy with Saha up front by him self, 10m spent on Billy , Pienaar and Arteta being sold and replaced by loan signing Drenthe and 500,000 Gibson. Yakubu , Beckford sold and replaced by a loan signing donkey rejected by Leicester City in the summer. Is this what NIL SATIS , NISI OPTIMUM stands for i dont think so.

You Moyes knockers don't appreciate His predicament.

He is forced to sell Pienarr (greedy) Arteta (ambitious) & Yak ( off form, while with us) & receives nothing back in return. The CEO's statements of a net 35 mill spend don't inc' the 18m from above sales or sale of rooney 12 mts earlier.

He is being fluid with his dates & statistics to enable some 'fans' to be manipulated into accepting the board propagander.

If Moyes had the money that other sides, with 5 or more points above us have,He would be Manager of the year, again.

    Our current position isn't our finishing position,believe me.Its a marathon,not a sprint.

We WILL finish in a position fitting our financial position. In Moyes we trust.

Do not insult this site with the names mentioned above again. (exc DF)

what did u expect us to win in those 10 years? champions league, premier league..was never gonna happen im afraid, this might be as good as it gets, look at nottingham forest and what they have won in the past, where are they now..bottom of the championship..but i bet they would swap places with us!

I strongly doubt anybody could do any better than Moyes without any money to spend.

Fine so sack him, pay out his contract, then go try find someone BETTER than DM, offer them a contract and give them £1.38 to spend on building a new team.

I agree, until we find investment you have to say that Moyes is probably the best man for the job.

7 years no silverware before him, 8 years before that, its all about premiership survival in this money obsessed era.

You mention Billy being a flop. Yes you are correct but what about Cahill, Jags, Lescott, Coleman to name but a few.

Do you actually think DM wanted to sell Pienaar or Arteta?
Do you now think he would replace them if he could?

Now go off there and get you're box of tissues...........oh too late........you've **** too soon

Joe spent less and won silverware, Without change how do you know a new manager cant do a better job. He might sell a couple of players and transform the team. Sometimes you dont need money just a new manager to change the playing style and give the place a lift like david done in first 6 yrs.

Joe spent less money but City, Spurs and Chelsea didn't spend millions every year. The league was much more open and money wasn't as important, and Peter Johnson gave Joe Royle some money to spend. I think that Moyes has his faults, but if Moyes was to leave I strongly doubt anyone could do any better, as the new manager would have no cash.

Must be said we were 2 games away from relegation the year we won the cup with Joe. Still my most favourite manager ahead of HK though......

And it must be said that DM was only 2 games away from the CL and £40mil only to get drawn with Villareal.

Frying pan & fire springs to mind.

Unless your a complete empty head, you will realise that the board are effectively shafting Moyes by suggesting this boll--ks about money spent. He is performing miracles year on year & because we haven't had some jammy cup run like brum (releagated ) or the Rs (good cup team at best ) Some think He's underaceiving, get a life.

I do agree this is Moyes's weakest season and has to be blamed for some of the poor formation, tactics, selections, playing players out of position and substitutions he has made this year. Over the last couple of games there has been an improvement and I feel we might have another end of season run.

I don't think we should get rid of him but understand frustration when you see teams like Swansea attack Arsenal and get a result whereas we park the bus and with 30 min to go take off our only striker.

Having said all that I am proud that Everton have has the 3rd longest serving manager and for all the good he has done for us over the last 9 years he can be forgiven for this season. We need to keep him and trust in him but I wish that we could be entertaining. I don't think anyone would complain if we were mid table but as a team we were playing decent football and trying to win every game.
