Everyone saying the more injuries you have throughout your career, the more stamina you lose towards the end of it.

Now, being a physiotherapist i know a tiny bit about the human body.

Ive always thought that the more injuries a player has, benefits them in the latter stages of their careers. Not playing matches all the time means that you are not putting constant strain on the cardiovascular system, making it younger and more efficiant than your actual age.

A man is at his physical peak aged 30 so age is no excuse for footballers' stamina. Injury lengthens the physical peak age depending on how long you have been out for, so footballers who have had long term injuries should go longer than the ones who have stayed injury free.

Dont get me wrong, i'm not saying just because im a physio that i am 100% right, everyone is entitled to their opinions im just putting this out there.

    That is all
