Definatly need something new upfront. Saha and Cahill lacking real confidence and just not doing it when they're presented with good chances. Donavon was the real bright spark for us, everything good was coming from him. Thought Gibson did ok, couldn't expect too much considering he must've only been with the squad for a couple of days. Drenthe had a bit of a bad game though. Didn't see too much of the second half as my stream stopped working past the 60 min mark and only came back with a few mins left.

Maybe we should try just putting Donavon upfront if we can get Coleman back (not sure how serious his injury is so that might be out ofthe question). Overall I'm not too dissapointed as a point away from home is never a bad thing. Just a shame we didn't make our first half chances count.

We did not score in first half when we where well on top.... We shuda had 2 or 3 in a good period and game shuda been over at half time. Yes we done ok to pull it back but with a goal scorer we wuda won that game. Saha has no desire in him. He had an open goal from a yard out and shuda threw his head at it..... Fair enuf he got a slight tug and it wuda been a penalty if ref saw it but cmon........ Wud big DUNC of let a wee tug put him off wen an opportunity like that came along.....He wuda put ball himself and anything else in his way in the back of the net......

to be honest we shud go and sign some1 young and unproven cus we dnt look like we gunna sign a proven striker even on loan... Get sum wee up and comming striker who wants to make a name for himself even a cocky wee **** who is a bit controversial cus saha dsnt even have to try cus he knows he will start next week anyway cus there no1 else. I dont agree with donovan playing up front i like him on the wing as an inside forward. We shud try vic up front next week and saha bk on the bench. I thot Duffy had a decent game today and sylvain shudnt be out for long also jags will be back at middle feb so 4get bout getn anotha defender and get a bloody striker or give vic a chance from the start.

Because they are no longer capable of playing at premiership level, do you watch a completely different everton or something? . And my nuts are toasty thankyou very much...i put the heating on an hour ago

Didnt get to see all of the game. We had a good first half but I cant understand what happend at half time to change us soo much. Donovan is prooving his class once again, shame we only have him for a couple of weeks. Happy with the draw because having gone 1-0 down I just could not see who we had on the pitch that might score. I would welcome a striker of any ability so long as he busted a gut. Would have taken the draw before the game considerig the players they have so overall happy I guess.

We had a good first half but Villa were very poor. They came out and actually played in the second half is all.

Because the rest of the team played well enough to win..... three fully fit/not past it players would have made all the difference. we might as well of played with eight players on the pitch.
