Do you know what Deso, as an Irish descendent I have always believed in the United Kingdom. It's a way of getting the English rich to spread some wealth amongst the Celtic poor. But do you know what, as a large taxpayer, I hope that Scotland fck off and do their own thing and stand on their own feet.I am really **** off with their whinging and grasping mentality. They came into the union because they were totally broke, now all you hear is about 'their' oil. Well my scots friends you can have it. If Ireland and Wales want to do the same so be it, I'd rather they didn't but it should be their choice. But once done, they are on their own. England will continue to generate huge amounts of money and the Celts will have a nice time until they go broke again.........have a nice day.....

Dont think the Scottish public want to seperate. Its the politicians making all the noise. Economically foolish I agree for them to part ways and I think national feeling is more of a rebellion to English rule than being British. I'd say if you asked any Englishman for his nationality he would say English first and British second(just guessing) and the same would go for the majority of Scots. The Welsh are a dozy breed that never had a real fight in their lives, they are like their national dish they like to be herded. The Irish are a different breed altogether, the struggle for independence is ongoing for centuries.

What bugs me is that we, Irish, Welsh,Scots,English, actually get on quite well and make a bloody good team. I cannot stand that bleeding Alex Salmond who is doing all this just so he can walk the political world stage. As a people, we generally feel united, albeit with nationalistic competition, and I will never forgive the guy if he splits us all up........

We need some sort of fault line in the Irish sea, one that will push you all over towards America where they'll all whoop and give you money to blow up shopping centres.

I am, I'm often found running round the Trafford Centre shouting "FREE PARKING, FREE PARKING."
