Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but why do you think he is calling you thick? Maybe you have a degree in maths and business, sorry i dont. So as far as i can see he has yet again tried to explain the finances, when he doesnt have to, as you can get them anyway. Anyone who has been to a forum( and they are done in supporters clubs throughout the country, are any of you paid up members of supporters clubs?) will tell you, RE is frank and straight forward and does not dodge any questions from the floor. Dont get me wrong, i dont always like or agree with everything he says but as ive said before he doesnt hide away. He is visible clearly before every home game with his family, once they are in the ground he openly walks about GP outside, in the glare and possible danger from anyone who might have a vitriolic and vile opinion of him. I for one would wish the club moved on to new owners, and indeed a new manager(its my opinion, as he has served his time, gone stale, which shows in his tactics and shows in the players body language), however until we get these new owners were stuck with the current regime, and i do respect RE for the way he conducts himself, but alas his boss leaves a lot to be desired, non more so than when confronted last week in the Tamworth game, which he showed himself up as a very poor and disrespectful chairman.

Every single time Elstone comes out and says something, we have the same thread from the same person! He can say whatever he wants, its what the team do on the pitch that count. Hopefully we will win tomorrow but bad news, Heskey is injured.

Well put. I agree with your summary of RE and feel he is in a very difficult job but goes about it well. I have lost my respect for BK and agree this year he has publicly embarrassed himself too many times.

DM I am still on the fence about because he has been amazing for Everton but like you find this year his tactics and body language to be poor. I would love him to turn it around and although we lost to Spurs there was signs of improvement.

i agree with howie8, we all want an rich benifactor, but the reality is we havent got one, so lets do what we evertonians do best and get behind the team and put our wishes away. Kenwright isnt the person whose stopping investment, investers are! we are in debt within need of a new stadium etc who has that type of money??????? and why would kenwright put them off investing????

'I think elstone is calling us thick'

    not all of us.

efc have gone to extraordinary lengths to assuage the fans concerns about the clubs finances. even to the extent of conducting a confidential meeting with those who comprise the blue union, to inform them of how the club are battling to  maintain our competitiveness despite our financial difficulties.

this was repaid by these scum releasing confidential information to the press and doing immense harm to the club.

this latest release of information is unparalleled in the world of epl football, but it has been made necessary, not just to inform the fans, but as damage control, and to minimise the harm done to the club by the oafs of the blue union. it will help restore confidence and credibility to EFC.

I hope it will be successful. the best thing we can do is to draw a line under the issue of the clubs financial problems and get behind the board in their efforts to improve the club and create an optimistic and united front that will hopefully help attract the kind of buyer that EFC needs and deserves.

In fairness, I think a lot of you are thick, but he wasn't trying to be patronizing, just clear.

You lot still holding out for a sheik or oligarch, despite the fair play regulations? Well you're really disproving the thick bit. we need a well run club that is self sufficient. we aren't all that far off, we just need a few more income streams.
