Posts: 21January 2012 Snowcone how can Members of TBU not string a sentence together? Have u not read any of the comprehensive newsletters / financial reports etc that they have released? Do u not know that KEIOC are part of TBU and are the ones most likely to push through a new stadium under The Football Quarter?
'Let Go If You Love The Club' is a simple message to a Chairman who claims he loves EFC above all else - quite clearly this is untrue as he has set the value of the sale at £150m which is above 3x what the Board paid for them.
Also, Sir Jack Hayward invested much more in Wolves than any of this Board ever have done (that being a grand total of zero) but he still sold for £10 with a guaranteed £30m investment in the playing squad - now that is the action of a TRUE fan mate. -

Posts: 955January 2012 These 'fans' who knock the BU seem to forget that a protest group eventually secured the disposal of the american owners of RS by marching (chanting messages & emailing owners banks etc.)
Its recognised fact that protesting changes history.Poll tax,suffragettes,white rule etc.
These protesting fans voice there disharmony lawfully,other than sit back & watch the car crash unfold.
I don't agree with everyones opnions on us but every blue agrees we need change & BU are voicing there opinions. -

Taking away the arabs and the oilgovich's, who do your really think has that kind of money to invest in the middle of a financial meltdown.......???? Football clubs like city and chelsea are toys to their owners and the owners have money to burn, do you not think kenright would sell to these billionaires if they came knocking......trouble is there is no knocking......

I totally agree! The fans need a voice and having a protest group like BU means that our concerns are at least vocalised. Got to love democracy in action, unless you're escla that is! -

Bill has owned the club too long he has been a lucky chairman as he has a good manager who has the knack of making a gold purse out of a sows ear but like all dictators they think the garden is lovely and rosey and maybe he should look at some of the chumps around him although i have to say there aren't people falling over themselves to invest i look at the spurs model i cannot understand how they have'nt gone bust by now they have roughly the same capacity as us they have players on wages far larger than ours and a manager who isnt scared to open the cheque book.
I am sure you are all going to give me reasons why spurs can afford it but if you run a business you run it to make a profit i look at the money they spend and how much we spend and the only thing i can glean from it is that they must be losing money hand over fist but are they and if they aren't then why cant we afford to invest in new players

The Capacities are the same but thats the only simliarity between the grounds. WHL has 120 corporate boxes we have 10 (12 if you count the academy one and the sky box in the corner). Ticket prices are more expensive. Iwould also imagine they make more in sponsorship deals and also renting out rooms outside footie matches. Obviously being in London there is more requirement for function facilities.

Liverpool did not get sold because of a fan protest. that is utter rubbish. it was sold because RBS or HBOS thought the £200m+ was at risk and threatened the club with administration unless it was sold. You want bankers running our club? They do so well with banks...

i couldnt have put it better escla needs to have a sense of humour instead of taking up the high ground and being presumptious i am not a doleite and i do a job where i am an example to my community i love my football club as much as he does i am not a member of the blue union and never would be but we are a great football club which is just walking around in ever decreasing circles and deserve to have a securely run club in our history we have not been a selling club and if we had an owner with financial muscle (i dont mean a russian olligark) just someone who if we need a striker you can go and get one i think everyone would be happier
