    If we had got these 2 in on free transfers in the summer when we had the chance, would our season be turning out any better??

    and the reason I say no I dont think Barton is better than wat we have in Midfield IMO and I dont think BA would have scored as many goals in our team as he has for Newcastle simples really.!

    I think if we had got Demba Ba and either Sebastian Larsson or Stephane Sessegnon 6 months earlier (if we'd had the £6 Million - I really wanted him and I'd still take him) we'd be doing really well!

    On the other hand, I'm pretty happy at the moment that Charles N'Zogbia went to Villa (although MAYBE he'd be playing better for us). I'm nervous about saying that cos the barsteward will probably have a blinder for them tomorrow now!

    No ifs in this topic Beano, WE DONT HAVE 6 MILLION.

    But yes, maybe Larsson would have helped, i feel Barton would have and Ba would have given us something we dont have. we could have got ALL these players for NOTHING. If it didnt work out we could have sold anyone of them for around 3 million or so. Thats where we fail as a club at times imo. Dont think of what could be.

    course it would of, Demba ba is one of those players who can play upfront on his own, and create his own chances

    and barton is a c**t but still a decent footballer, he would of got 1 or 2 red cards but he is technically a decent player

    i agree, but cos he is a divvy at times people forget the lad can play football. Non if his stats cry out and say 'jeez, this lad is rubbish'
