1 mil for a player who may or may not work in our squad is pretty much ideal to what we currently are as a club

I'm from Ireland and have seen hm play so many times for the national team. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THAT HE IS FUKKINNG AWFUL. I honestly can't stress that enough. Don't know anyone over here who doesn't groan and curse like a sailor when they see his name on the Irish teamsheet.

He has only played four competitive games at home in the last year or so and two of them were as a sub.

He has only started 2 competitive games EVER! (unless you count the Carling Nations Cup as competitive competition in which case it's 3)

He's not even that bad, don't know why people are saying he is rubbish, Seen some of the goals he has scored on youtube, at least he can hit the ball and isen't affraid to shoot.

I like to look around at some decent players and as i said about 6 months ago we should look at stuart holden at Bolton i have kept my on the lad and although he has been out injured with knee ligaments i know he would be a cracking player for us

I like Holden too, but I think he has got a long contract and Bolton would want a lot of cash!

Have a bit of faith eh? Moyes might be able to make him a better player, he hasn't had a lot of oppertunities at United and a fresh start somewhere he is more likely to start will hopefully reap benefits for both him and the club.

If he comes I will support him and I will give him a chance to prove himself, but that doesn't necessary mean I will be thrilled that we have signed him.

Considering we don't sign many players these days I thought people would be over the moon about it xD
