hopefully moyes gets the best out of him, he showed a lot of potential at one time and hes got to be better than having defenders in midfield, he can actually pick out a nice pass and we need someone with a little creativity in centre mid, hope people dont get pisssssssed off as they dont like him, give him a chance after all we cant afford any better, moyes will make him better for us.

Seriously though, if Gibson does sign for us I will support him and I will welcome him to the club. Only time will tell if he will be any good for us but I will give him my support.

Put a tenner on him being top scorer, gotta be good odds............

I agree, he needs support, and Moyes will stop him from shooting in no time.

I think Gibson came over to Everton was nice, because Everton needs good players like Tottoham.

"Everton are hoping to unveil Darron Gibson as their latest signing before the weekend after agreeing a £2million deal.

The Manchester United and Republic of Ireland midfielder held talks with Blues boss David Moyes on Thursday and shook hands on a four-year contract worth around £40,000 a week.Gibson will now complete a medical and confirm the fine points of the contract to complete his move - first revealed by the Mirror on Wednesday .He will be Everton’s second signing of the January transfer window following the capture of Landon Donovan on loan from MLS champions Los Angeles Galaxy."
looks like this one is done and dusted.

    unless you read the guardian...

    Manchester United for Everton

    • Midfielder expected to sign for £500,000

    • Gibson out of contract in the summer

    http://tinyurl.com/7reu6rl

"Everton are set to sign the midfielder Darron Gibson from Manchester United on Friday for £500,000.

The 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international is out of contract at the end of the season and will become David Moyes's first permanent signing for a year.Gibson has fallen out of the reckoning at United despite their injury problems and has made two appearances this season. He was among the players dropped, with Wayne Rooney, for a meal out on Boxing Day evening. Moyes is without injured midfield players including Jack Rodwell and Leon Osman and has not replaced Mikel Arteta since the Spaniard joined Arsenal."
500K. thats sounds like a bargain!!!!
