    IS HE ANY GOOD?

"Moyes is hoping to persuade Gibson to make the switch to Everton after a proposed summer move to Sunderland broke down over personal terms.

The Toffees boss had been hoping to sign a striker in January but may need to pay more attention to central defence, with England international Phil Jagielka out for six weeks with a knee injury and Sylvain Distin suffering a hamstring injury at White Hart Lane."

Moyes can get the best out of him. Gibson just needs to move to another club, like Pienaar, Yakubu and Arteta (motivation-wise).

Unfortunetly we will not sign players that are much better than Gibson until BK sells EFC.

Wonder what the odds would be for him to be EFC top scorer this season if he comes, might have a tenner on him as he at least shoots at goal and not the corner flag or the top of the stand.
Just a thought, do ya think it would be a good idea for the strikers on the bench to try "hit the bar" comp at half time for charity, money to come out of the players pockets. Saw Drenthe take one for the lad in the Bolton game and just missed. Might sharpen them up; make them a bit more competitive during a game, jeeeeeeeeez im scraping the barrel for ideas to sort out the strikers at our club, there again what do they do in training? and if whatsisname comes on and says "works hard in training" then he's a liar........

Seriously though, if Gibson does sign for us I will support him and I will welcome him to the club. Only time will tell if he will be any good for us but I will give him my support.
