weve been trying for years its not going to happen, the debt will get higher whatever we do and we will become less of an assett at least if we started again from scratch got rid of the debt and started being a football club again instead of a financial joke we might eventually look appealing to an investor, whos going to buy us in this current state were in, weve been trying for how long and nothing and were in a worse position than ever and look less appealing by the monthscjohno said:if everton dissapeared tommorow and you didnt have all this misery you have lately? the question came to mind after having a discussion with a younger blue whos only really remembered them in the premiership hes as passionate as they come as a fan but hes reached the point were its making him miserble all the time, hes beginning to wish he was never an everton supporter as hes getting sick to death of it now, constant let downs and dissapointments and things arent going to get any better in the future, all i can see is relegation in the next few years, we sold lescott and at least had the money to buy some players, now were selling players and not replacing anyone , the shiiiiiits gonna hit the fan eventually or hit the fans as were the ones getting all the shiiiiiiiiit , we are told one thing then another by our board one minute theres 4 parties interested in buying us the next its silence, were told money will be available in january now it doesnt look likely, why is our club constantly knackered financially, whos destroyed our once great club? kenright? obviously the board have over stretched our finances , to get 70 million a year and make a loss and even selling nearly 20 million quid worth of players so far the banks are still on our backs, someones keeping a big problem secret, who did we get loans off some loan shark charging 500% interest? my friend said he cant even look forward to any youngsters coming through as all that happens is they get sold to keep the banks happy, if we sold rodwell felliani barkley and any others and got 50 million in transfers we would still get the same nonesense about the banks being on our backs and were skint and we would still be in debt. i read a post about selling up lots of players getting rid of all our debt, which doesnt sound a bad idea let the board come out and say were in the clear we have no debts now and lets see how they manage the club financially , we could start from scratch with our youngsters and hope in a few years time even if relegated we can rebuild and at least have a promising future, instead of this constant stagnation its like watching a close friend dying and theres nothing you can do. all i see on this forum is total misery and dejection week in week out without any positivity for the future, maybe we just have to bite the bullet drop down a tier for a few seasons and rebuild and come back in a better position financially. im lucky i was supporting us in the eighties when we had title winning sides (supported us in the 70s when we were dire as well lol )and would hate the blues to dissapear , but im just wondering what younger blues are feeling at this time when they havent ever really tasted success, are they feeling the same wishing they had been born supporting another team or are they happy being miserable and let down constantly supporting everton. MY view is start again from scratch, get rid of all debt and take what comes be it relegation, i just want to enjoy football again, we will always be everton and always one of the great clubs in england, and we will come back stronger in the future we as supporters would make sure of it, one evertonian is worth 20 liverpudlians COYB

theres nothing positive at all , unless we get took over theres nothing a big fat zero in the future, only the same crap we got now, sell players to keep bank happy bring nobody in , eventually just fade out of the prem with a whimper.sambo applecart said:

just smile through it mate, there will be people and clubs in a lot worse situations than we are.

ive been smiling through it long enough , somethings got to be done because were slowly dying and the board seem clueless as what to do.Jayee019 said:Your right and i am just holding on for a fans take over or any takeover.

the problem with a fans takeover mate is that there would be even less money to spend than there is now
-----------------
but at least it would be our club again, at least we would have a clue whats going on, at least there would be some honesty and openess , not like this board who tell us fk all and just plainly bullshit us week in week out.sambo applecart said:

no mate, some people will never be happy. If we were in the top 4, challenging for the title, with a few million to spend every season, and a new stadium on the horizon, there would be people still not happy.
