We old Arteta for 10 million, AND we are saving on his reported 70k a week wages, which is what 3.5 million over the year?? SO it got me thinking...............

We got the Yak off the wage bill, if he was earning 40k a week thats another 2 million saved.

Yobo will have been on 40k a week, so thats another 2 million saved.

Ok, Fellaini has taken Arteta's wages on, BUT, he must have been on 20k a week minimum anyway so even that is still 1 million saved.

I dont presume Straq or Drenthe are on huge wages, so how is all this money getting swamped?? I'm not saying anyone is taking it, befroe anyone jumps on their high horse, BUT, it jsut doesnt make sense to me, or really add up if im being honest.....

We're a few million a year lighter in the wage bill. We have been a few million a year in the red. It's not GONE anywhere. We're just not having to borrow it!

We made about £18M in the summer through player sales, and we spent nothing. The £10M for Arteta has gone to the bank but I have no idea what has happened to the rest.

and then if we dont show a positive?? we are royally bummed straight in the rectum hole cos we have no money to buy players in the summer so unless we sign some free players we will have 4 or 5 players TOO old for the prem next season imo

I'm merely answering your question. You ask where has it gone when we never had it!
Plus our wage bill went up about £5 Million a year with the wage increases for Rodwell, Baines, Jags, Osman, Coleman etc etc etc. We haven't seen the full 12 month effect of that in any set of accounts yet!

aye mate, for all my positivity, bit concerned with what Motes said today, and we really do need to freshen the squad up with 3 or 4 players, trying to keep the faith but its gettting harder every game we play at the minute, but we should judge on how the season ends, not game by game :)
