Not good enough to play upfront on his own.

He should be played in a 4 4 2 or not played at all.

    I totally agree.
Beckford is not a lone striker, certainly not at this level of the game - his first touch today was woeful and he plays too many quick passes without looking to see if anyone is remotely near where he's going to try and play the ball to. He ran around a lot, but achieved little. Give him a strike partner in a 4-4-2 formation or as 11blue says, don't play him. And if we're going to persist with 4-5-1 then we might as well sell the lad for his and our good.

shouldn't be playing 4 5 1 at home against Qpr anyway.

agree... why are we playing 4-5-1 at home to a first divison side????? i actually thought qpr were poor today and that they will get relegated, but as usual we make them look like world beaters... Beckford for me doesnt challenge any ball that comes his way and is too quick to have a moan or appears that way, when its not going for him.

Unfortunately, Beckford does not give the team enough. He cannot hold the ball up and bring others in. Was today, his final chance? I would like to see him chasing every ball and pressuring defenders- but it's a rare event. I am amazed he is not making more of his chance of the Premier League. I note that the only clubs interested in him are in the Championship.

    Says it all really.
we lost possession with virtually every touch he had.
He simply refuses to do the basics...or is incapable of doing them..
