we could get Nedum for that atleast have some cover across the back

    -----------------

true, we could get him. But thats our money gone on a defender, when everyone knows our problem was midfield/attack. The oinjurys to defence have just compounded things. If we bought him, and i do like him, what happens when Jags/Distin etc are back from injury? We are stuck in the same boat, more defenders on the books, and not scoring many goals.
Regardless of some of his strange decisions previously, i really, really wouldn't want to be in Moye's boots right now.......

    -----------------

he can play rigth back mate, no disrespect meant to hibbo, but im sure onouha would do just as good if not a better job

I can't believe the club has endorsed an article in the Daily Mirror which uses the sad death of Gary Ablett to have a go at the Blue Union.

    Sickening. Truely sickening.

How I hate Bill Kenwright and his regime. And the deluded beauts that still back him.

Don't be an idiot, we had a militant council what has that got to do with everton. Militancy in this form is nothing like passing illegal budgets, kenwright must go, you are right in one aspect things were grim in the eighties in liverpool, and the best comparison I can make is that everton under kenwright is like liverpool under Thatcher, that is destitute and falling to bits.

    -----------------

Thatcher saved your collective arses, show some respect, she overruled Geofrey Howe who was (as were many others in power) in favour of managed decline of Liverpool as punishment for disruptive militancy, thank Heseltine for what you have today.

the people of this city have not elected a single Conservative Councillor since Thatcher's demolition job , so YOU show some respect for the views of Merseysiders.

Not my fault that you have not seized the opportunity to prosper from the benefits of a Conservative Council, you have only yourselves to blame for that, missed opportunity I say.Furthermore I would venture to say that if there was any demolition job whatsoever then it was instigated by your pig ignorant militant activists of the 70 's 80's.

You notice how all the Kenwright supporters are the ones who never go or have never been to a game? Wonder how they'd feel if they were spending money on watching Everton rather than watching a 3 inch stream from Jalalabad TV.

    -----------------

    I love this bolded bit

All the stream bummers are blinkered pay to go the game before you start declaring Kenshites not as bad as he seems how the fork in hell do you's know?  You aren't in the pubs after the game you click the red X and thats it then pass your demented slant on a match you've just watched on a 3X6 inch screen for free on here.

I've always supported kenwright believing he had the clubs best interests at heart and better to ave someone like him in charge than black burns owners! However enough is enough kenwright has lied yet again, we are a club in decline we can't even use the money from arteta to help us when it is needed now more than ever! 2 seasons ago we were challenging the top teams and if we had been able to invest in a world class striker and a winger we could now be where spurs are! It is criminal how this once great club has declined so far that the likes of qpr, wigan even Leicester city are spending more on their team than us. 150 million bill thinks we are worth! Bill if you really are an everton supporter ask for 50 million cut your losses and give someone else a chance or be forever remembered as the man who relegated everton for the first time in our history!

Everton chief executive Robert Elstone has confirmed that discussions over the club's ownership changing hands are ongoing.

Elstone has also moved to rubbish reports that have suggested that club was being overpriced by the board.

"There are a number of individuals, groups and companies interested in Everton and genuine conversations are taking place about future ownership and future investment," said Elstone.

"Discussions are still at an early stage. What I know to be absolutely the case is the first question asked by us in these discussions is never 'How much?' but always 'What are your thoughts, intentions or plans for Everton's future?'

"I'm tired of saying it but the club is absolutely for sale and has not, and will not fail to be sold because it's too expensive or comes with onerous conditions."

A protest march against the current board is being planned by a section of Everton supporters before their next home fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

i found that on the net don't know weather its true.

i cant stand kenwright but i think the problem as other people said with the other shareholders, until we start giving them as much abuse and protest towards them then they might start to listen as they are in the firing line instead of sitting back with their custard cream biscuits and posh herbal tea in a saucher laughing at bill taking all the ****

I am making a belated new years resolution to not read any more posts about Kenwright or the board after this, mainly because you're nearly all a bunch of ill educated muppets.

It is noticeable that there are always a number of adamant anti Kenwright posters that appear with no previous posts during these times, almost like the Bunion are deliberately waiting...

The accounts I have been through year after year, they stand up. Moyes has been responsible for offering contracts, if not negotiations, and simply Kenwright and the board have ridden the finances as hard as they can to provide Moyes with the money. We don't make enough income to compete however. That is the bottom line. We need more income. A boycott is the exact thing we don't need. Administration, 10 point penalty? seriously?

think ur the idiot mate this is wat a forum is called and just to let u know before you call anyone an idiot moyes tells the board who he would like and its the board who offer the fee to the other club and sort his contract out so therefore its the board not moyes who offers the size of the contract, if it was up to the manager we would have kept pienaar as moyes would have gave him wat he wanted we would have messi playing for us on 1million a week lescott would have still been here

Honestly I could barely read that.

My point, you semi literate, was that Moyes agrees to extend Cahill's contract, Saha's, Neville's. These are the biggest financial millstone. The CEO or board it whomever will indeed do the negotiating, hence my words "if not negotiations".

We evolved to use words to communicate, English is a rich language, and all the words can be used to convey meaning, punctuation is useful for guidance too, I heartily recommend it.

understand this then you are a k.n.o.b, clear enough for you, kenwright moyes and everyone else should know that saha cahill and neville are not worth 15k a week never mind 50 but the board is too stupid to realise this and pay them extra when we cant afford it now or in the future, so youre telling me it is acceptable to be spending 3million quid on lawn mowers and computers??? wat computers did they getting nasa so they can fly to the moon, the point of the thread which was clearly in english was kenwright told everyone that the arteta money would be available in january but obviously had no intention of giving it over, to me thats another ploy to get people to buy half a season ticket just like every summer a statement gets released from goodison saying they are in talks with various groups interested in taking over everton then when the season tickets are sold they release another statement denying it, they shouldnt be lying to the fans like that thats not how you get people in the seats thats gonna drive people away like whats happening now.

think you need to take off you bill kenwright quilt cover off and get his tatoo removed because obviously your so far up his **** your now in charge of making him breath

How many of these are right...
    1. Kenwright actually said, there would be money to spend in January, but nothing like some other clubs might spend.
    2. Moyes said its unlikely we will have any buys this January, everyone knows the Arteta money went to the Bank.
    3. Landon Donavan in on loan, how much is the insurance on that ?,wages?
    4. Darron Gibson BOUGHT for an undisclosed FEE, how much ?
    5. In one thread it now says Moyes said after yesterdays game, we hope to get 3/4 players in this window.

Conclusion from above is someone is not talking to the other, and yes money has already been spent this window and more to come...........
