Militancy in this form is nothing like passing illegal budgets, kenwright must go, you are right in one aspect things were grim in the eighties in liverpool, and the best comparison I can make is that everton under kenwright is like liverpool under Thatcher, that is destitute and falling to bits.

Thatcher saved your collective arses, show some respect, she overruled Geofrey Howe who was (as were many others in power) in favour of managed decline of Liverpool as punishment for disruptive militancy, thank Heseltine for what you have today.

I said because people were saying Kenwright never promised the money. Although as for the last part of the comment Drenthe wont stay here on a permanent basis.

Haven't you noticed that there hasn't really been much transfer activity at all so far in this January window. No one has really spent much.
We may have "some" money to spend, they never said how much. I would hazard a guess that its only a couple of million.
Now, if he does have say 2-3million, it's gonna be difficult getting someone in for that kind of money, espcially in this transfer window.
Several managers have already said the January window isn't very good.
Yes i was hoping we would have a bigger budget, but if the money ain't there......whats the saying? Double edged sword?
All us fans want the team to be successful, we want to buy new players. Due to sales of our creative players to appease the bank, and some key injurys, we are playing some poor stuff. Dwindling attendances (wether its because of the poor football, or just skint fans i dont know) don't help the situation. Less money in, means forecasted finances are lower. Which means they have to re-adjust their transfer kitty.
Which in the end means we dont buy anyone cos we can't afford it.
And while all this happens, us fans are calling for everyones heads and wanting the club to still go buy players......
Really heading to a dark place soon.....stadium will struggle for safety certificates, we've sold most of our other assets and have loans based on future income.

I live down south so only get to 1 or 2 games a season.
BUT my family are all on strict orders to buy all my Everton bits via the club shop (i dont get anything but Everton gear for Xmas/Birthday).
Just being realistic - how many players do you think we could get even for 3million, that would make a change or improve the squad?
Put the money towards signing Drenthe maybe (i assume he will go for free in June?)
King Moyes.....understand the point you made. Apart from i know my missus wouldn't be shacked up with someone, cos she can't stop bloody spending money!!!!
