yep he's just waiting for the Spurs job now........and he'd damage his chances of getting that job (or another big job) if he just walked out on us like Martin O'Neill did with Villa. Chairman want to know they'll get a loyal manager who won't be bitching about transfer money all the time...Moyes has shown his character is second to none

    I don't know why people assume he'd be Tottenham's #1 target!
There's no way Moyes has made this assumption!
Plus, going to a club who are about to start redeveloping their stadium far from guarantees powers in the transfer market!

Spurs have plenty of money....always have...now they'll have Champions league money aswell....and work on a new stadium might not go ahead for 3-4 years yet, i don't think they have planning permission yet & still seem to be challenging for the Olympic stadium....

Moyes is ambitious, so i'd be surprised if he hasn't thought about his long term plans...and where he would like to manage at next.....

I accept Moyes may not be their No. 1 target.....but there won't be many ahead of him.....he's well respected everywhere, and has worked miracles at our club.....i'd be amazed if they don't interview him for their job when Harry moves on......

Spurs already have the planning permission. They have only made changes to some parts the plans that are not part of the stadium and need to re-apply for these parts. They are not and never were interested in playing at the olympic Stadium. They pretended to be interested, knowing they wold be refused and would win planning permission for what they really wanted, the WHL redevelopment. This is what I am told by family I have living in North london.

There is a lot more than a new stadium and work has already started on preparing the outer area for the construction of the new residentail, entertainment and retail buildings that will be constructed.

I think with the likes of Gus Hiddink and Rafael Benitez around, Moyes won't get that job. And who knows who else will be available by then with Real Madrid always likely to sack Mourihno the next time he fails to win La Liga! They'll go for glamour and for CL experience. They wouldn't take the chance of undoing their European progress!

wouldnt bank on that remember juande ramos, they have been there before with european experience but who knew nothing about the league.

They will go for a manager who is good in the league, and Europe places will come automatically.

even if you take out modric and bale out of their team its still way better then ours.

tickets mate, you said a few weeks ago Moyes was tactically inept in Europe, so would they really want him if that is the case?

you only learn by playing in the competition.

same with barkley he will make mistakes, but why not play him now so he can learn from them

a lot of managers make mistakes in europe but they then learn from them.

Moyes has a great reputation but the longer he stays with us the more his reputation becomes tarnished.

If he was to get offered the Spurs job at the end of the season I could see him taking it to be honest.

Hopefully Moyes is one of those managers that buy their players from previous clubs because all of Moyes's favourites are sh|t anyway

Why David Moyes could be the next big name to leave Everton
"The miracle is that Moyes keeps Everton competitive, despite all the problems at and regular departures from Goodison Park.

"It is a little bit sad they are starting to pull away from us a little bit more than I would like. I think it was only three or four years ago us and Tottenham were competing neck-and-neck for European places," he said earlier in the week.Tottenham's victory pulled them 21 points clear of Everton, who are stuck in mid-table, having had to beg, steal and borrow Landon Donovan from the MLS.The question is: Who will be next out of the door - Leighton Baines, Jack Rodwell or Ross Barkley?Moyes is respected by every other Premier League manager, but surely there is only so much even he can take.

    Mark Lawrenson on David Moyes...

"Everton are treading water too, and they are really fortunate that they have such a top manager in David Moyes. If he wakes up one morning and decides he is sick of banging his head against a brick wall every day, they are in big trouble.
I saw Moyes being interviewed after Wednesday's defeat by Tottenham and felt his frustration. I got the feeling he is wondering where he goes from here.I am a big fan of his and he has done an outstanding job but every time people talk about Everton, it is all about how they cannot compete financially.Bringing in Darron Gibson from Manchester United for £2m would be a decent buy at that price, because they need to replace Mikel Arteta, but all Moyes can do at the moment is shop around for bargains like that."

I'm fed up of all these moyes haters he has done a fantastic job at everton with what he has been given! If you can't afford a striker who is gonna net you twenty goals a season you have to play to your strengths. If you have a solid defensive line and can nick a few goals on the break you do this moyes has made this work for years as we haven't got the bench full of strikers arsenal, spurs, united have. Hull and west brom both tried the attractive football but minus the world class striker and look where it got them! You ask any football pundit and they all talk about David moyes with glowing praise and how he has got us punching above our weight. . .they can't all be wrong? I just wish we could get rid of kenwright and get some investment for moyes as it should
Be us where spurs are now!
