It doesn't matter who Moyes plays up front

It doesn't matter because we simply don't have a good striker at the club. This season I have seen all of our strikers play and none of them look capable of scoring the goals we require. At least last season Beckford and Saha would score goals, and I think Yakubu would have scored goals if he would have played more games, but Yak and Beckford have been sold and Saha looks past it. Vellios has scored a couple from the bench but he has literately done nothing when he has started, Denis works hard but doesn't score, I don't know why we resigned McFadden, Saha looks past it and Anichebe doesn't score enough. They are all as bad as each other. I have been a little critical of Moyes at time this season, as he has made quite a few decisions that I have not agreed with, but now that I have seen all of our strikers play, I don't think there is anything he can do.

To be honest, I think that Bill Kenwright is the problem at EFC at the moment. I do actually like him as a person and as an Evertonian, but I have to admit that he is holding the club back and I think many people know it. He said in the summer that Moyes would have money to spend on a striker in January, but we are yet to see any new players signing for EFC. And I think that until BK gives the manager some money to sign a good striker, we will continue to struggle for goals, and if you don't score goals you don't win games. Any thoughts?

I do to be honest mate, and I was probably in a bad mood after the match! I wanted Moyes to try something different, and now that he has tried all of his strikers I don't think any of them are good enough.

Is it the strikers? I agree they havent performed but I do not think that our midfield is creating the opportunities. Everyone knows Baines is the threat and now double mark him when he comes forward. In the centre we have never played a creative player. Cahill might score you goals (which he is not even doing now) but never created much for others). Neville cannot pass a football properly and should never be in the middle. Heitinga is a CD and in emergancies can cover for Rodwell/Felliani. Rodwell and Felliani are both quality but should not be in the same team. Osman is our best choice but keeps getting put on the wings.

I do agree that the strikers have notproduced but I feel our tactics are the main reason for our poor performances.
