Hi all, would just like to say a big thanks to all the Everton fans we met on Saturday, some of the best and friendliest supporters we have came across in my time supporting Tamworth. Also, the Toffee's fans who stayed behind to applaud us off the pitch were a credit to their club as was David Moyes and some of your players who waited around for up to 5 minutes to congratulate our players and manager.

The way we battled and took the game to Everton is something I will never forget.

For those interested I have blogged the game here (third post down): http://fromthebackoftheshed.wordpress.com/

Thanks again and good luck for the rest of the season.

This message should be sent into SSN and read out. There's been so many disgusting things surrounding the game recently, mostly from our neighbours, so its a pleasure to hear this from one fan to another club. The game has been tarnished a bit but with supporters like you Chris, the true values of the sport will be kept going strong from one end of the leagues to the other. Glad you and all the great Tamworth support enjoyed the match.

We should all take a leaf out of this guys book. Instead of throwing our money at overpaid disloyal blurts, go and support the likes of Tamworth. I bet they play there hearts out every week. Plenty of small clubs for us to choose from. Been thinking of watching Macclesfield myself. Just think, instead of sitting watching fuzzy streams you could be stood watching young lads who still care about winning or at least trying.

i was thinking about going and supporting my local team York City, thought about it for about 2 seconds, then i remembered i know to many twats that support them and to save getting in a brawl every week in the home end so ive decided im going in the away end instead and will sing my heart out in support of anybody that turns up to play against them

Just looked at Macclesfield site, they can do one. They let students in for a fiver, I'd pay an extra fiver to keep the spongingfuckers out.
