If you're tearing up a motorway you may get 30mpg average, depending on the car.  So that's 6.66 gallons, which is 53.33 pints, a pint is 568 ml, so 1.76 pints in a litre, so about 30 litres.

No idea what that costs mind.

You sure?  You'd need a good nick and modern 2l car to average more than 30mpg I think, and the rest of my maths is right.

I get 47mpg in a 2.5 V6 on the motorway and about 20 mpg on normal roads.
