Starting with one striker at home against QPR is bad enough. That striker being Beckford is just galling.

The board can talk about player trading all they like, we've have a shortage of strikers for a good while now.

But then to take him off and got for a 451 with Cahill and Fellaini just behind for all of ten minutes before giving Saha 15 minutes on the pitch is just bizarre.

Fare enough Moyes is only a couple of players short of having a very good squad... but it looks like he's still a few players short of knowing his first eleven.

Arteta, Saha and Fellaini and Anichebe on the bench.

Looks like the team and the manager had decided two things. That they are unhappy with the current situation surrounding the club. And that they had beaten QPR.

    And where was Billy?

hahahaha a couple of players.....to have a very good squad we need 6 otr 7 new players..min

Point being that this is Everton FC... 6 or 7 seven players isn't realistic is it?

But with pienaar gone, vaughan....and yobo and yakubu maybe on their way. It is fair to say that Moyes will have a couple more options open to him before the close of the window.

But what I was trying to say was that when we finished 4th, he had even fewer players available to him, and of generally worse quality. But he knew his first 11, and what to do when something went wrong.

Yesterdays team and subs were just odd.

    Yeah,dunno what happened there.

My point basically was that it didn't matter who started where or who played in what position?
The team performance as a whole, and individual performances of the vast majority of players was not just below par but way below what we should expect of professional players.
And that their performance,in what was their first appearance,at home, was, frankly,an awful indictment on the management who supposedly prepared them for this game.

You sound like you are saying 'Moyes out'

Can't agree on the starting team or the position they play in point though. That is generally what gives the team confidence in its collective ability based on each players opinion of the teams squad with the understanding that the Manager is boss.

But yesterday looked like Moyes was making a point. Sod the tranfer budget, look at our bench, watch Barkley and Rodwell starting. This is the Everton way.... of course we will beat QPR.
