Posts: 24,753January 2012 With Everton's injury worries mounting,the club are making giant strides in the transfer market today.THere is rumours abounding on the NSNO website that Everton are to make a move for Nigerian Whiz kid Ahmed Musa http://www.nsno.co.uk/everton-news/2012/01/toffees-trail-musa/? Having already turned down a bid of 10 million from an unnamed German club in the summer it seems VVV Venlo seem willing to now do business. With a reported 10 million or more needed to buy the player, it is unsure of where Everton will get the money from, but, with the potential to pay in installments, and possibly doing it the Everton way, we could find ourselves offering them 20p a week over 500,000 years. WATCH THIS SPACE.The rumour of Everton being interested in Inter Milan starlet http://www.talksport.co.uk/magazine/features/2012-01-06/talksport-transfer-spotlight-everton-target-luc-castaignos-facts-stats-and-video? is stepping up pace, with TALKSPORT doing a lowdown of the player and his abilities. Moyes seems keen to bolster his attack, but it is more than likely he will turn his attentions to a defensive minded player who has an eye for goal rather than going all out to improve his sides meagre goal tally this season by actually trying to sign an attacking player. With 2 4th division clubs in Italy also interested it seems they will be a more interesting proposition then him coming to Everton to be given his chance at right back.The rumours of AEK Athens CB Kostos Manolas http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/transfer_latest_everton_move_for_aek_athens_ace_1_4116726 turning out eventually in a blue shirt are still doing the rounds, but it seems there is a sticking point with the greek side wanting near to a million pounds for the player, with Everton offering only 58 ENGLISH pounds 200 cigarettes and 3 portions of fried rice,meaning this could turn out into a long drawn out saga.....More as we get it......

It seems, according to Setanta sport that David Moyes is having to rethink his transfer plans http://www.setanta.com/ie/Articles/2012/01/06/Moyes-to-rethink-transfer-plans/gnid-124916/? according to the website due to the injury to Phil Jagielka the toffees boss is now going to have to TRY to delve into the transfer market to bolster his defense which will no doubt mean spreading his transfer kitty over not ONE but possibly THREE defenders instead of the TWO he was likely to try and bring. This forced move will no doubt delight the defensive minded manager and his pain at the thought of having to sign an attacking player will all but now, surely be washed away......
