VDM has signed for WKE who play in te rather inappropriately named 'TopKlasse' division in Netherlands. Its their third division.

Christ he looks fat now. And I can still remember him giggling like a girl on EvertonTV after answering the question "what is your favorite food?" with a pause, a grin, and then 'fish and chips'.

I prefer to remember hoping to see him in ths pose:

Wonder if he does it for WKE

Can't believe you aren't all falling over yourselves to wish this once Everton legend well at his new club.

Er........ Yeah....... Played his heart out week in, week out, always put a shift in in training....... Played wherever he was asked to........

Nah, seriously that's just me being harsh as I really did want him to do well for us, but his attitude was all wrong but then when he did play, he did do well but he just didn't play enough.

Hope he does do well for them though.

I think he was a legend.

A legendary drinker, and comedy footballer. When he turned up our medical team noticed that his livers were f**ked and he said it was caused by the same incident that made him faint on TV after a game of football over a year ago.....we believed it and signed him up and then caught him paraletic out on the town during curfew and he claimed to have had his drink spiked.

He had his car and dog nicked and only wanted the dog back. I have no recollection as to what happened to the five rolex watches that were also stolen.

25k a week.... for eating fish and chips, setting fire to your flat and going out on the raz every day.

He may only have ever put in two crosses while he was here, but those were the best two crossed any Everton player put in while he was here.

    VDM we salute you!

Ah yeah, I remember quite a few of those incidents, most notably the car and dog getting nicked. We need more comedy footballers, that's why having the likes of Ballotelli is good for the Premier League!

I love balloteli and much as I wanted better from VDM, he pleased me more in his tme here than many other players who have contributed better things on the pitch have.

i remember me and my son (he was 7 at the time) were waiting for the players to arrive at goodison, when andy turned up in his car he pulled up near to where we were waiting. as he got out of his car he winked at my son came straight over to him and signed my son's programme and chatted to him for ages. i remember andy making my son laugh. wish every player was like that.
