Actually nervous about Tamworth!

Posts: 4,765January 2012 I have a bad feeling about this Tamworth game. I honestly think they could come to Goodison and win, because I can't see us scoring unless Baines scores a penalty or Osman gets one (if he's fit).

Posts: 4,765January 2012 Vellios will probably play as well, and Much or Hahnemann will probably play. Hopefully we will avoid any embarrassment because if we were to lose that game the fans will really start to turn on the manager and the players in a more vocal way.

Donovan looked decent at times, got a bit of class about him, and the goalie did nothing wrong -
Posts: 4,765January 2012 Howard, Donovan and Baines did okay in my opinion, but the rest of the team played poor. Gueye was no better or worse than anyone apart from the three I have mentioned.

Posts: 148January 2012 I don't see us losing this game whatever team we put out, i jokingly started the thread!I would play all the players who are low on confidence and injury free, also those we would like to cash in on.Saha low on confidence, needs some goalsBily, need to cash on on himBarkley, point to proveMucha has looked miserable all season on the bench, put him in net and Howard up top with Saha!Honestly though, we should get away with only playing 2 defenders instead of 6 against these!

the injuries cost us tonight imo, we were crap granted, but had nearly the whole midfield not had to be reshuffled cos people kept limping off we wouldnt have got beat, and if you can look like not getting beat when you play that crap, its not so bad imo -

if you play all the players who are low on confidence mate, we will most likely (or increase the chances)of geting beat. No disrespect meant, but that is as bad as a suggestion as people suggesting we sack MOyes cos we had a crap day at the office tonight. -

Posts: 148January 2012 I cant believe that anything short of our reserve team would get beat at home by Tamworth.If we do then the whole club from players to fans need to lock themselves away! Play the boys that either want something else, or need a training match infront of the crowd.We'll only get bloody Chelsea in the next round anyway!

It WILL be interesting to see our Line-up though. Tamworth's Goalie is an Evertonian, so he'll be either Pumped up or Nervous?
