Moyes's problem isnt strikers!

I see people on here saying moyes has a problem with strikers ie:yak, jutkiewicz or beckford (all scoring goals for their new clubs)

    The problem is actually Cahill!

He hasnt hit the net for over a year now but is still 1 of the 1st names on the team sheet-strikers get 1 or 2 games and then get dropped if they dont score but cahill is pretty useless if he isnt scoring.

I know he works hard and gets stuck in but another striker upfront with saha would have outscored Cahill this year (as Cahill got 0)

Moyes believes Saha is the best striker he has ( I am hoping he will sign for some1 else in this transfer window as he isnt worth the money we are paying him)

Play 2 upfront and we will score alot more goals right now teams know that if they score a goal they will eith win or draw against us as we cant score 2 goals in the same game.

Lets play Saha and Anichebe upfront and leave Tim to rest on the bench till he realises that if he isnt scoring then he wont be playing.

I agree that we should play 4 4 2 more often but I think that people have picked up on the fact that some players don't score as many for us as they do for other clubs. People also think that he managers these strikers the wrong way such as the way he is reluctant to give youth a genuine opportunity, or the way that he plays some players up front on their own even though it doesn't suit their style of play such as Saha and Beckford among others.

I have seen Saha play up front with someone before and he looks much more dangerous and the two strikers complement one another. Last season Saha hadn't scored a goal in the league for a year but as soon as Saha played up front with Beckford he started to score again, and Beckford scored a few as well. When Denis came on and played up front with Saha a couple of weeks ago they looked good up there together, which is why I believe we have to pair Saha with someone when he plays up front.

I think that strikers need confidence more than any other player, and once they score one they could quite easily score a couple of goals in a couple of games. I don't know who will end up being our top scorer this season, but I think that we could really do with a striker going on a run.

We are missing someone in the middle of the park who is creative and will pull some bleeding strings and put in a killer pass, that's what we are missing.......

No, Moyes's problem is not knowing how to play his strikers.

I believe we have enough quality to win games with our strikers but only actually playing strikers in a 4-4-2.

Fact is Saha deserves to be dropped. The reason we improved is because the guys that come on put themselves about and didn't just wait for something to happen. As for Cahill he should change his game and become a midfielder.

Saha looks to be getting slower, but I am sure he just needs one goal to get his confidence up. I think that he should be in the box more but I certainly think he would play better up front with someone.

It's not Cahills fault,he's been told to play their, I would put him back in midfield but moyes seems to want to play him their

I would, it means we can **** drop neville.

I'd be happy seeing Drenthe, Fellaini, Cahill, Osman (from Left to right that list) and I'd think we'd be peachy. Let Felli keep doing his defensive shizzle, and tell Cahill he can afford to get forward a bit.

the current problem with strikers is that we dont have one thats good enough to lead the attack.

velios, maybe in a year or two. big vic isnt a lead striker, at his best he's a backup.

cahill isnt the player he was, too many injuries on int'l duty. i wouldnt be surprised if he returned home at the end of his contract. he has part ownership of a club in oz.

louis is reaching the end of the line. faddy and magaye are also rans, not leaders.

maybe strac can do it, havent seen enough of him to decide.

moyses real problem with strikers was selling becks and the yak. it was obviously huge mistake as we dont have the cash to replace them.
