TKD: Yakubu has been a 10+ goals a season, ever since the season he played in Israel. Only under 10 after his injury with us.

the point is as soon as players get a new contract, they stop bothering and that happened with yak. hasn't everyone forgotten how lazy and useless he was in the last two years?

hes the same as arteta, marcus bent and kevin campbell

haha....absolutely spoot on.  If Yakubu was playing for us now, in a regular 4-4-2, would he score regularly? Answer, yes.
Therein lies the problem for us.....whats the poiint of buying another forward when we play 4-5-1 even against the crap sides

I said to everyone we should have kept hold of him.

Everyone keeps saying, 'Oh he wouldn't have done that for us'. He would have done had we played 4-4-2.

he wanted out becuase moyes treated him like ****.

and no he hasnt just started off great, he was great for middelsborough, portsmouth, and us before he got injured.

since his injury he has played well for leicesterer and now blackburn.

its up to moyes to get the best out of his players and motivate them,

yakubu is a goalscorer, that is clear for us all to see

Agree, yakubu was fed up of playing like an attacking midfielder instead of a striker, and I don't blame him.

Had moyes played 4-4-2 I'm sure wed have seen just as many goals out of him.
