I said to everyone we should have kept hold of him.

Everyone keeps saying, 'Oh he wouldn't have done that for us'. He would have done had we played 4-4-2.

once yak gets his new and improved contract with a high wage after scoring goal after goal  this season, he'll just stop. why? cos thats the type of player he is and he has a track record.once hes it in the bag he cba- same as mikel arteta, kevin campbell and marcus bent.
first season at everton couldn't stop scoring. after that, wouldn't even run ten meters to get to the ball.past few seasons, how many goals did he score? I can guarantee tht this time last year on here youd have been shlagging him off about how lazy he is etc.

have a look at wikipedia  for a valid example as to why my point is valid.

well done moyes for getting rid!

TKD: Yakubu has been a 10+ goals a season, ever since the season he played in Israel. Only under 10 after his injury with us.

the point is as soon as players get a new contract, they stop bothering and that happened with yak. hasn't everyone forgotten how lazy and useless he was in the last two years?

hes the same as arteta, marcus bent and kevin campbell

ohhhhh ffs YAK YAK YAK YAK YAK, HE DOESNT PLAY FOR US ANYMORE, GET OVER IT. He can score as many as he wants its still not putting the Black puddings anywhere near us, 7 points behind and played 2 more games than us, so maybe he needs to improve his defensive duties!!!!!!!!

Of course Howie their poor defensive abilities is all down to Yakubu. We were pretty solid defensively the year he scored 15 goals in 26 games. 37 goals against that year. 20 goals against after 17 games this year.

He got injured and had a falling out with Moyes.
I believe Moyes ultra defensive tactics are a piece of the issue. 1 goal in 7 games for us and 11 goals in 19 games for Leicester in 2010/11.

Which season did Moyes start to utilise Cahill as a striker? If it were that season the Yak was pretty much out, I thoroughly blame Moyes` Cahill adaption for our decline in attacking quality the last years.

The only reason people dont want to acknowledge the yaks achievement is because it looks bad on us from every angle.

Not only did we only get 1.5m for but we are now struggling for goals while he is banging them in for fun.

Think of it this way if moyes had just signed a striker for 1.5m and had just netted us 12 goals so far this season, I doubt everyone on here would say he is lazy and will stop scoring next season.
