Moving forward

    Personally I feel the only way to get this club moving is by performances on the pitch.

    Before we let many go I was of the opinion we could actually have a good season and all we needed was too add maybe an exciting forward.

    I have every confidence in moyes to buy the right players given the cash, but I feel this has been David moyes worse season for tactics and decisions.

    Everton are reminding me of England very stale and negative and I can only blame moyes for that. On paper our team is very good.

    We need a fresh energy and the confidence to walk out on the pitch with an aim to winning games on our merit by causing the opposition problems by hard work and taking a chance, at the moment it's very defensive vs some real poor teams and this is what I think is making us under perform. We wouldn't have to of done anything incredible to be in 6th this season.

    Always get behind my blues. But come on it's a competition, in it to win it

    We have a decent team and a strong team spirit, but maybe the tactics let us down sometimes. Obviously the lack of investment in the playing squad will make it difficult for us to finish in the top 6 but our squad is decent.

    Good post and agree.

    We blame the players and to some degree they deserve it but because of the tactics and formation we are never going to make Europe. This season has been so dull watching Everton and for the first time Moyes is letting us down. After spending 10 years building the team and spirit in the squad we have seen it all destroyed in 3 months.

    Time to back the players play them in the right positions and have a go at winning matches.

    Have we had a revision of history here? Did I miss the heady days of Keeganesque cavalier football? We won a LOT of 1-0s when we made 4th. Marcus Bent anyone?
