howard is 32,
jags will be 30 in march,
hetinga wont be here for years and years as he said he wants to finish his career at ajax and often makes mistakes he isnt a long term solution
rodwel looks likley to be sold to get some funds in
barkley isnt even on the bench
gueye and vellios may/maynot make it too early to tell.
I cant see rodwell, barkley or fellaini staying here for much longer given that its looking like it will be 3 years without european football
12 months is a long time in football, last year neville was playing well and redknapp was loking to bring him in to add experience to his side, and cahill already had 9 goals for the season. 12 months on and now look at them,

long term contracts means they just get paid more, doesent mean they cant be sold
saha distin to leave at the end of the season, neville and cahill not good enough amymore, he is going to have to replace them. and he is going to ahve to sell to buy to do that
Im surprised I haven seen finch farm being bought over yet, i thought you and your "rich evertonians" were coming up with the 15m.
:))HOWIE8 said:Why is all this comming out now. During the summer when we were selling players everyone kept saying we had a decent squad, with the youngsters being on board.
I asked everyone to check the squad list at the end of the last season game. Look at those who had been sold, those you thought would be sold, those you thought were not good enough, those who are injury prone and those who were getting on a bit, and you will find we had a poor squad. Its what all managers do at the end of a season, Mr Moyes needs to ask himself did he look closely enough, lack of funds or not.....
