Would you take AJ back??

Just been reading up on the Mirror website some of the transfers they expect to go through, and they reckon AJ will go to Blackburn for about £2m, which I think's really cheap!

If he was played in his proper position, I'd love to have him back here. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't pay anywhere near the amount we bought him for previously, but £2m would be worth the risk.

I know it's another former player coming back, which we need to cut down on as we need some fresher faces in but for a bargain, could be a good one.

Already been proved he cant play the Moysey way, as he'd be injured running himself ragged after a week or two.....

That's very true, but if we utilised him properly as we should have done, as a striker, do you think he'd be any use to us?

Yes, but as youve said "WE" is not Moyes....He is seeing something that no one else is at the momment, part of his stubborn scotishness. I just wish, n ive said it before, he would just take time out, and do what he used to do, visit other teams, see how they are coaching, tactics, training etc. He needs to refreshen himself, and the players need to see that too. A refresshed manager with new ideas has to be good for them and for the supporters. STALE, is what he is now, dont need to get rid of him just get him invigorated.....

Until he changes the formation and tactic of the club it doesn't matter who we sign. AJ is a good player but I would rather see the strikers we have already got given the chance to play with 2 upfront and a playmaker in the middle. Dennis looks like a good powerful forward who could work well with Saha also Vellios is promising and young McAleny seems to play like AJ does.

PLAY 2 UP TOP WITH OSMAN/BARKLEY IN CENTRAL MIDFIELD,

no i wouldnt and i wouldnt have piennar back either, both had too many injuries since they left us, too much of a gamble for me.

I'm unsure on Pienaar myself, a good player, too many injuries though and his attitude towards us when he left seemed to leave a bitter taste as well.

AJ's only problem is that he does get injured a fair bit, but he's capable of getting a goal or two, but the way Moyes plays means that he probably wouldn't settle back in and so it wouldn't be worth it. He could be a bargain at £2m, but only if used properly and in his proper position, so I think I'm more towards the 'No' camp also, but wouldn't complain if he did come back.

This is a very good point, but if we can't get him invigorated, he's got to go, along with Kenwright (like THAT'S going to happen!)

No. His goal tally before we bought him was inflated by a lot of penalties. I don't think he's that good.

I would have him back as he scores goals and his work rate is very impressive. The only question would be would be be able to play up front on his own?
