    Coates  £7m
    Henderson £16m
    Carroll £35m
    Downing £18m
    Enrique £6m
    Suarez £23m

Wonder if they'd have accepted the same performances off Woy if he'd spent that much...

No doubt any reds reading this will say its a net spend of £50m because of the ladyboy money, but lets not forget he had long since stopped scoring...

Errrr excuse me, but they're the most cultured, well educated and LOYAL supporters on the face of this planet.
    How dare you question them?

I wonder who they will waste the next £100M on. I can see them buying back Peter Crouch......

They've got to place some blame on the players though, Kenny played two up front so it wasn't the tactics, they had a very strong team out there and yet they didn't perform. As my Dad said though, what's he saying/doing in training that's seemingly having a negative effect?

I know we hate the RS but they should be beating the like of Blackburn, Wigan, Norwich etc..... Just like we should be beating Norwich, Swansea, Sunderland, Stoke etc...... Similar situations it would seem.

Not that I'm bothered like, seeing them drop points is great! Except for the fact we're doing the same!

TBF Its not Kennys fault, or the players or the board or the fans. I blame The Sun, The FA, Peter Stringfellow, some Chelsea fans and the bloke off Strictly Come Dancing. Nothing a protest won't sort out.

They've been shown up as thegobshites they are over this Suarez thing, see Shearer on MOTD "If Suarez gets his ban". I'd love to nuke Anfield, preferably when they are playing Newcastle.

Just to think they have spent £80M on Carroll, Henderson, Downing and Adam (good goal by him yesterday by the way). They could have bought so much better with that £80M and they could have had a genuine world class striker with that £35M but they bought Andy Carroll, and the fans are now getting in his back a fair bit. I am not really bothered what the do, but I have noticed that he leaves Bellamy on the bench a lot, even though he looks one of the better players in that team.

was looking at this the other day.  most of the draws they have battered the opposition, but just not been clinical in front of goal.

1-1 agasint united 8 shots on target, norwich 15 shots on target, swansea 10 shots on target, man city 9 shots on target,

wigan 10 shots on target,  blackburn 13 shots on target.

defensivley have joint best record in PL.  midfield is a little weak going forward but they have gerrard back now.   the main reason they arent winnning the games is becuase carroll isnt preforming, all they need to do is buy/loan a goal poacher for the season.

From a financial perspective I agree that the outlay is masked by the money they've recouped, however its still a lot to spend on players who arent performing... and in all seriousness I think liverpool fans will agree they overpaid

true but carroll aside all of those players now have a higher resale value overall then what they paid for them, which is why they bought them.

their owners made no secret that the plan was to buy young so in a few years time they can get some sort of resale value on the players.

do you think they would get £18m for Downing or £16m for Henderson? I think they might struggle to find buyers at that price

true but the likes of suarez adam and enrique would go for much higher then what they paid for them to balance them out.

for downing you would probably still get 12-15m for him and henderson is still quite young.

the point was 3 years down the line they could sell the players if they wanted to and still recoup most of the money back if they wanted to, plsu loan players like joe cole and aquilani should sell for a few million aswell so financially its hardly a big risk.

I'm not convinced re getting more for Adam. Suarez would go for big money - he is, despite his behavior one of the best forwards around.

I think Enrique was an absolute bargain.

They also bought them all to play football and get into the top 4 , guess none of that is going to happen anytime soon..........

your right 3 points is too much to make up, if it was 1 they would still have a chance
