usually i would say no, but we caught them at a bad time, new manager, fresh impertous, and away from home, so on this occasion i would have to say its a point well earned imo....

waaay better than zero points, so I say it's good, so nobody's (evertonians and black cats fans) disappointed losing the game. At least the 10th place is good.

sometimes its enough to turn a club around even if its for a few games....i dont think that Sunderland are particularly good, but, we caught then at a bad time, they have got a couple of decent results since the the manager came in, new confidence from it, we were away from home, we had a few inuries, it was just a bad time to catch them imo, so a point was not a bad result in the scheme of things. Had Bruce still been in charge then i would have been a bit disappointed had we not won.

A point is a great result but its the lack of chances that frustrates me.  You can count on one hand how many times weve had to make the keeper work in the last 4-5 games. we totally suck at it.

i really hope DM buys early in Jan. Get rid of Billy, and use whatever funds we can to get a striker. then play 442, then and only then can i possibly see any progress

Not fussed by the point it is the constant lack of ambition with the selection. We played for a point against United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and by the look of it Sunderland. Points earned 1 (dodgy penalty). If we had attacked these teams more we might have atleast got 3 points against 1 of them if not more. We have a mind set of a mid table team and therefore we will end up there. If we want to challange for Europe then we have to take these teams on. I would rather lose 5-0 and give it a go than sit back and hope they don't score.

Taking 5 points from the teams we have had to play against is poor in my opinion. Home to Norwich, home to Swansea and away to Sunderland are games that you would hope you would be able to take 9 points from. For me, anything less than 7 points from these three games has to be viewed as a disappointment.
