    why for the love of god, did we just not bite the bullet on his wage demands and bloody sign him.......the way hes going, someone's gonna come in with a 25 odd million offer in the summer

    We would have ruined him!  Moyes would have made him come back for corners, defend and work away from goal... Then blame him for not scoring! Then selling him of for a £1 to someone like Bolton then see him scoring a hat full of goals...

    Firstly Beano I used to be the most positive guy on this forum a while back..  I have adored Moyes's way of playing for years and years until this season.... This season we have become boring and predictable, he has been stubborn in his style and I think selfish at times.  When we played City away i defended him, we were so defensive and did nothing to attack, but I understood why, city could have smashed us, but I was happy we came away with a 2-0 defeat.  What bugs me is that up until the last 2 games we have been doing the same at home, we should be attacking teams at home no matter who they are... Goodison is a placed to be feared, I preferred the dogs of war tactic to the way we are now... I was as happy as pig in shitee that we wont last night,but what i dont want is for Moyes to back track and be negative again..

    I find we get lots of players in the box at Goodison no matter who we're playing. Obviously, against the sides better than Norwich and Swansea....sides who are better than us, we have less opportunity to do so!

    you'll get the odd bad day when the individual performances aren't up to standards - but even when Manure were here, we had 18 shots at goal - mosty on target

    To be fair beano if you think we commit enough players forward during attacks (ecspecially at home) then  its YOU whos watching different games, our problem is if you play a lone striker he needs to hold the ball up so the wingers and midfielders can bomb forward, were as with us saha drops deep to collect the ball and there is NO ONE in the box,

    Exactly, every single game we put a couple of good balls into the box but nobody gets on the end of them. There was two examples of this last night when the fans got frustrated when Baines and Drenthe put dangerous balls into the box but nobody got on the end of them.

    Yeah he does look a lot better in a 4 4 2. Last season he hadn't scored for a while until he played up front with Beckford and they seems to compliment each other.
