    some day the powers that be will realise that liverpool football club aren't the angels they are portrayed to be. That includes the fans, the players, the officials.....NOT ALL but most !!

    They have been a part of 4 of the major football "incidents" over the past 20 years !!

    COINCIDENCE ?? Once maybe.... 4 times.....get real !!

    Firstly as much as I hate Suarez I do think an 8 match ban is a little harsh when you consider that players can get away with three game bans for potential career ending tackles and violent conduct. It's the same length of ban for Ben Thatcher's forearm smash on Pedro Mendes, and as unacceptable as racist behaviour is, it does not warrent the same ban as deliberately knocking a player unconscious and nearly killing him.

    However Liverpool should just quietly appeal the length of the ban and it might have been reduced, a ban is merited and his actions must not be condoned but a 3 game ban would have been enough (maybe with a suspended ban for future conduct)

    Liverpool's actions though claiming witch hunts and painting Suarez out to be whiter than white, and massive protests was undignified and makes Liverpool look like complete scum.

    I'm a little surprised he has let the club act in the manner they have. Fair enough he's a yank who knows nothing about football, but you'd still think he'd raise the class level of that club.

    Lovely stuff from Chelsea though, saying they turned down the idea of a t-shirt in support of Terry.

    John Henry is not the man I thought he was. I thought he was a proper American businessman with morals, it seems he's just another chancer, pity that.......
