disgrace and blinkered

thats liverpool supporters and players, there protest was a total disgrace last night , the supporters having a banner saying EVRA mutant black guy at the wigan game and liverpool players and management wearing t-shirts supporting suarez, there is a rule about players wearing t-shirts to make a protest politacally or socially and liverpool broke it, this isnt a football issue its a social issue, suarez was found guilty of racial abuse, yet the fans players and management support this, suarez admitted calling him negrito 10 times and tried to get off with it by pleading ignorance because its accepted in his country, im sorry gassing jews was acceptable in germany at one time it didnt make it right (bit over the top comparison i know) i remember years ago the N word was acceptable in this country it was used as a name of a colour N brown, its not acceptable anymore in this country as are a lot of things associated with black people (hope im allowed to say that) and are now banned, if liverpool fans management and players want to support a player who admitted using this word not once but 10 times then there very misguided and blind, im pretty sure if it was a player of lesser importance it would be a different story, its a disgrace in my opinion liverpools backing of suarez, they could just turn around and say they dont agree with the decision ETC ETC, but to start this big crusade that its the fa being anti liverpool is a disgrace, dalgliesh used the term we wont let them walk alone after hilsboro , to even associate that saying towards a player found guilty of racist abuse is a disgrace on his part.

What little respect LFC still retained is going down faster than Suarez. They have always turned their own failings around and blamed everybody else and this is just the latest manifestation of their complete transformation into deluded victimhood. A bad joke of a club...

and im not saying suarez is a racist , he got found guilty of racial abuse it doesnt make him a fully fledged memeber of the kkk, he made a mistake got found guilty and tried to get out of it on a technicality, take the punishment do your time and get on with it, just stop this big anti liverpool garbage by the fa, people have been put on the sex offenders register for pinching a girls backside as it can be classed as sexual assualt same sa slapping a girls bum, they have to live with it, but people dont label them rapists same as suarez wont get classed as a hardcore racist. this wont blow over if liverpool keep up this crusade and totally blinkered attitude, there losing all dignity now and last night didnt help.

That's the problem with the RS, they just can't ever, ever seem to accept the blame for anything. I am quite happy to see them making such a ridiculous show of support for their cheating racist player.....it's dragging their reputation down even further.

also part of liverpools complaint was that there wasnt a single player on the park other than evra who heard the comments, if you call that as a defense when the accused admitted it then your making fools of yourselves, why have witnesses if hes admitted using the word he did . clutching at straws springs to mind

I wonder what went through Glen Johnson's mind as he stood in front of a mirror wearing the a T-shirt as part of a club wide campaign in support of a charged racist.

not only glen johnson, what about the mixed race supporters, how do they feel, but becaus its suarez it seems ok, as i said if it was a player of lesser ability i can not see this big crudade by the rs, it would be left to blow over, its ok showing support but to start this crusade is a disgrace, they always cry out for justice, well im sorry the decision was right and thats not being biased, he admitted it take it and move on, stop always trying to be the victim, YOUR NOT.

    True.

The best way out would have been for Chipmunk Chops to stick to his claim that due to cultural differences he did not realise the true impact of his use of the word (yeah, right), man up and accept the ban, and for LFC to support their player as guilty of ignorance, not racial intent.

But that's not the Liverpool way. Instead we had t-shirts. Effing t-shirts for God's sake. And internet petitions, facebook protests....I'm expecting a deposition to Downing Street by the end of the week.

if they continue this protest im pretty sure things will only get worse for suarez, this would of all blown over in a few weeks, i dont look on him as a racist he made a foolish mistake in the heat of the moment we all have said things in anger that we later regret or realise we were wrong even if made in ignorance, im pretty sure the press will be looking for every little mistake he makes now if the rs continue with this campaign , so many things happen in other countries that are not accepted in a lot of societies , ignorance is no excuse, ive got no real hatred for suarez for his comments just hatred that hes a cheating rs beaver lol,

Hang on, it was no mistake, he said it ten times. Once, maybe a mistake. Not ten times. If he's not being racist then who is? Dalglish is becoming a disgrace. Shankly and Paisley will be turning in their graves.

To be honest, I think he is mentally unravelling. Their default reaction to anything bad that they do, deny it, blame someone else and then make a big fuss about how victimised they've been just can't be applied to one of their players being involved in racial abuse in the year 2011.

I hope he gets his ban extended and that the club get a huge fine for bringing the game into disrepute.

Not sure the FA have got the gonads for that though....lets be fair, they've had their once in a decade outing already.

Thing is though, Emre should have been punished when he racially abused Lescott and Howard but got off on a technicality. What's done is done, it needs to be forgotten now. Like I said yesterday, just hope JT gets the same punishment as there needs to be some consistency from the FA.

And yeah, I saw the T-Shirts that the RS wore, bloody embarrassing more than anything! Especially when Suarez was wearing one himself!

not sure but isnt terry being dealt with by the police and not the FA as ferdinand put his complaint into the police and not the fa, if hes found guilty by police im sure the fa will havve to follow up with a ban

Suarez  wouldn't of got a 8 game ban if sepp blatter didn't make them comments! the FA was calling for blatter to resign so for them to give him 8 games was there way of proving a point.

I do agree to an extent.....but the England Captain who the England manager, backed by the FA, continue to play being charged with making racist comments by the crown prosecution service doesn't exactly bode well for that point.
