I will never have a go at Moyes when we win, and as I have criticised him a fair bit of late I thought I should say well done to him!

A decent performance and a few good stand out players on the night , ie. Felli . Ossie , Drenthe , Hibbo , Bainsey , ... and I actually thought Cap'n Phil done alright even though I wasn't happy seing him in from the start . I think RR played much better when he switched to the right .
Big Denis is never going to be the greatest player to put a blue shirt on but he certainly tries his heart out . By being so big awkward , clumsy , strong willing to challenge in the air and having a never say die attitude , I can actually see him becoming a bit of a cult hero ... He'd run through a brick wall if asked and is probably capable :D

Maybe for committing lots of players forward at every opportunity just as he did last Saturday perhaps?

No idea what game you were watching mate. We weren't good against Swansea, distinctly average. It's a team we should be playing 4-4-2 against, but if we must go 4-5-1, we definitely shouldn't be relying on Neville for creativity. He might as well stop and put up directions before he passes a ball it's that readable. We should be playing Barkley, or at least playing Osman down the right and Cahill through the middle (although I agree Cahill has been pants recently, I fear he's past it)

Baines didn't have a good game, especially defensively. Osman was quiet for the first 25 minutes, but when Coleman went off he seemed to get more of the ball and played well. Fellaini was a **** monster in breaking them up and winning us the ball back, but he wasn't too great going forward. Drenthe was easily the stand out performer, even pulling his weight defensively at times.

Other than that, there's not much to comment on, other than that it was distinctly average, and a poor starting line up yet again, I'm just glad we had Drenthe on the pitch, because without him, we'd never have scored in a million years.

Also, what's up with Vellios? Saha barely put any effort in all game, and by the 60th minute he was complaining back to Moyes about his team mates not giving him the ball on a **** silver platter. He doesn't deserve to be playing, but I can understand why Straqa isn't.

I always said when it happened that we shouldn't have let both Yakubu and Beckford go. Ideally, we'd have let neither go, but I think £2.5 million for Beckford is good money. £2.5 million for Yakubu wasn't good money. He may not have scored as many goals if we'd kept him, but at least it might convince Saha to actually do something, at the minute, he knows he's getting a game regardless of what's happening around him, or how he plays.
