If he's scored 11 for Rovers, how many would he get for say Newcastle Utd this season????

It's really hard to find stats on this but basically Yak scores before Christmas, eats 17 turkeys and is useless till the start of the next season.  Happened at Pompey, he was top of the scoring charts at Christmas with Boro and scored very little after, happened with us I think too.  Injuries don't help him, but he does seem seasonal.

I think £1.5m was cheap however, but if he had carried on not scoring or playing, who would have paid that.  We have taken his undoubtedly high wages off our books too, and at 29 in Nigerian years, he is probably on the decline physically.

All power to him at Blackburn, he didn't really ever let us down in attitude. Maybe it might have been better to keep him, but I doubt he'd have 11 for us at this point. I don't see it as black and white as everyone here, undecided.  Probably too cheap, but we wanted rid and saved a fortune in wages too.

Have to agree with Tickets the Yak has been treated badly and has one of the best scoring records in the prem, but i do agree with Sambo it dont matter which striker you bring in in Jan if we dont change our tactics we wont score goals,Moyes stifles our strikers and needs to have a little more faith in our defence and let them defend, and our attackers attack.
