    Unsubstantiated connections:

    Bobby Davro - Cheesey 80s comedian/TV personality

    Various Rap stars: "Slick Rick - Brit musician well known for being a big fan of the blues during his child hood his fave was Andy Gray & Paul Bracewell; Jay-Z - the rapper loves the colour blue and this was shown when he joined in the chants at a recent Charlton game when he was over here last;
    Mike Tyson [not really a rapper! - Ed] - when he saw Tommy "Mad Dogg" Gravesen he went wild for his Blues; The Crips - the Crips from California are a group who stand out for their colour blue; Nate Dogg - in a recent mag interview, Nate Dogg said when asked Liverpool or Everton: "Everton. Iactually saw them play when Iwas a little boy; they are my team."

    Samuel L. Jackson - According to a Production Assistant on 51st State, he developed a thing for Everton while filming on Merseyside, but now we're told he was seen at a Liverpool game with Red Ricky Tomlinson, replete with Liverpool T-shirt. Split allegiances for Shaft?

    Matthew Perry - Could Chandler Bing be a Blue?! Surely a wind-up?!

    Richard Branson - This one keeps coming up but so far we have nothing conclusive. Apparently he has roots in Maghull.

    Clive Tyldsley - Football commentator whose voice graces the video of the 1986-87 Championship season, but is apparently a follower of Manchester United .

    John Motson - Football commentator whose first match was Everton; they say he has retained a fond spot for Everton but he is known more as a Tottenham fan.

    Gerry Marsden - Of "Ferry cross the Mersey" fame who, like Cilla Black, apparently started out Blue but was enticed to the Dark Side.

    The Queen Mother - this has neither been proved nor disproved but there is a persistent connection between Everton and the Queen Mum, probably due to vivid memories of that handsome devil Dixie Dean in the 1933 FA Cup Final and Everton's towering status was on everyone's lips back when the old girl was in her heyday.

    Simon Weston - Falklands survivor made famous by a heroic battle against potentially fatal burns

    Dickie Davies - Badger-haired Sports TV presenter

    Rod Hull - Late entertainer and operator of Emu. Is claimed to be a Blue but many recall that he fell off his roof while trying to improve his TV reception so he could watch a Manchester United game.

    Cherie Blair - The same person claims the Prime Minister's wife watched the Blues in the late 1960s while dating his mate. Although if Tony can switch so easily from Manchester United to Newcastle for political expediency, who knows who Cherie might follow these days!

    Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Jamie Carragher, Stephen Gerrard, Ian Rush - All known to be boyhood Blues who were lured to the Dark Side.
