feel a bit for froch, he's hard as nails, the 2nd best super middle in the world, but somebody like Ward comes along once every 20 years or so that is just head and shoulders above everyone else......not sure on the relentless jab though Howie, he just counter punched with the right hand over the top, that won him the fight, and imo, i think Ward was surprised that he didnt put him down or stop him, i think he fully expected to.....

Posts: 7,486December 2011 If ya watch it again you'll get what i mean by the jab, its quite an accurate and unearing shot he's got and it takes its toll on any fighter, you cant get yourself going coz its always there nagging at you. Give Froch his due though , his jaw is granite and he just kept going regardless of the inevitability. Ya know in the ring if its not going to happen for you, and Froch knew........

Excellent, you wont meet a better bloke than Joe Royle. I sat with him the night he came to Denbigh for a legends night, he was awesome, told me loads of stories and was so nice and genuine, only when he went on stage to do his talk did i suddenly realsise he was practicing on me before he went on, coz he said all the stories again to the audience........ -

haha when the park end erupted cos of obstruction in the box-,and it was only the PE cos I guess thats the only place you can see it 100% clearly, were you one of very few who joined in in that hospitality section? lol
I thought osman played well! did great with his shot that got headed off the line and did well to deflect the goal in I reckon he can come back into form if he works at it.

Posts: 19,496December 2011 osman did much better when he switched to the left... until then he had no discipline and caused problems on the right, exposing Hibbert... after the switch he stayed out wide... but I am not one of his biggest fans...PE - funny in the hospitality area because yer shout out an theres a good chance yer'll be on yer own!!! lol

Posts: 7,486December 2011 been out tonight with the misses, son and his girlfriend, to the Philarmonic for "Carols by Candlelight". Thought it was going to be a burlesque type show, but it was just a load of singing xmas songs. Anyone been talking behind my back while ive been gone???

Ive always liked Icy, never fails to use me in jest but always gives a, only kidding or somat similar after. I think i got a little pat on the back from him for joining in with Tone's playful abuse of me ages ago.
