I agree Barklay should save us a fortune as he looks class.

Could also mean we couldafford to lose a big name midfielder I.E Arteta,Felli,Rodwell

For me Felli should go as his contract is running down and seems to have no intention of signing another.

I had high hopes for rodwell but feelhis progress has been halted by Felli also.

Would be great to have 2 English centre mids both young and both Evertonians

I said a while back that we needed to be prepared to make a small step back and work on reducing our debt, personally I would sell Jags for £15M, bring in Dann or another at half the price. Sell Fellaini if he wont sign for £15M/£20M and bring in someone at half the price and then look at some free transfers and see if we can get Yakubu and Billy off our wage bill. The surplus cash needs to be used to reduce our debt.

I can guarantee the interest on our debt will be £4/£5m per season, if we paid off our debt we wouldn't have debt interest or capital repayments which would give us a little breathing space. But we will need to wheel and deal, Moyes is the man for this but we as fans we need to be prepared to lose our best players every so often until we pay off the debts.

We don't need a massive investor, someone who can at the very least pay off the debts and provide us with a little more structure would be an acceptable way forward. I think we need to face upto the fact we are stuck at Goodison, Kirkby might not have been all that bad after all!

Putting up prices isnt a good idea, a global depression is on the way and people will cut out their excesses first of all!

Someone needs to get a grip of football, the wages, transfers fees are out of control! We need to look at the German model and if this means the quality of players reduces then so be it, but it will still remain a competitive league with an exciting style of football.

Well imagine the potential team in 4/5 years. If Fellaini went and we gave other young players a chance. We would have Rodwell, Barkley, Osman, Forshaw and Wallace! A true scouse Midfield. Play Baxter upfront. Keep Baines and Hibbert in the full back positions, buy Scott Dann, and suddenly we have got a quality team of local lads.

(apart from Coleman and Rodwell what youngster has Moyes produced in 9 years).

    Coleman came from Sligo Rovers

Yeah i know but he was bought as a youngster and has broken through.

Very few others have despite alot of investment in youth

    Ho, hum

    open goal

Youths that have broken through during DM's reign, from memory.

    Wayne Rooney.
    Leon Osman
    Victor Anchovie
    Jack Rodwell
    M Gueya
    Shameless Coleman

    On the cusp:-

    Vellios
    Barkley

    That's without thinking too hard.

BTW, how many of Hibbo's 250 games have come during the past 9 years?

    Must do better

(but apart from that, what have the Romans ever done for us??)

If Yak and Yobo go that will reduce the wage bill. Sell Billy approx £7m Sell Fella, rodders (fella keeps getting injured anyway and rodders was average last year, Would we really miss them???) and Jags £15-20m each, buy Scott Dann and another defensive mid, get sturridge on loan. Debts would be cleared and running in the black and still have a decent team.

    Hang on a minute

I already mentioned Rodwell and coleman.

Rooney was already here as was Osman.

Counting Vic is hardly a positive
Gueye should be in the on the cusp area.

Apart from that well done now go and do some proper research
    Must do better
