Teaser this week about Andy Johnson's hat-trick and about how he was 30
when he scored it. Has any other player played in more games than him
before getting his first hat-trick? Miles (Fulham fan)

MARTIN SAYS:
Andrew Johnson's first hat-trick came in his 168th Premier League game
against QPR earlier this season, but six players played in more games
before netting their first treble including Marcus Bent (193 games),
Nick Barmby (232 games), Ray Parlour (242 games), Steve Watson (278 games) and Kevin Nolan (280 games).

However, one man played in more than 300 Premier League games before scoring his first hat-trick. That man is Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard,
who scored his first treble in his 327th top-flight appearance for the
Reds, a 5-0 home win over Aston Villa on March 22, 2009. Thanks to Opta
