Can't see Froch beating Ward to be honest.

Think Ward is being under-rated over here, one of the most skilled boxers I've seen in a long time, can fight so many different ways, depending on his opponent and I think he'll be in and out before Froch can tag him. he absolutely destroyed Kessler, I know it was stopped due to a head clash but he was proper messing up Kesslers face.

Kell brook on the other hand is the real deal to me, class act all round.

    lol

    Kell looks the business.

I have no respect of Froch.  He bigged himself up too much callin out Calzaghe - who would have ended his career btw.

I think Froch is hard as f*ck Don, being hard doesnt mean he will win, but, he has been through the mill, never shirked anyone and has been in with the best and beaten the best, im not saying it will be a walk over, but, im swaying with Froch because i think Ward could be a bit of hype and peopel have jumped onto the band wagon to bull him up into something he might not be. But, i could be wrong, just my thoughts like :).

As for Brook, for me, he is a better fighter than Khan and i dont think Khan would be keen on taking him on any time soon.

Calzaghe was my all time favourite. Loved Tyson and back in the day loved Steve Collins and Nigel Benn. But fo me Joe was the man, was so close to seeing him fight Hopkins in Vegas when we were travelling but we flew to Florida the week before. When we found out how much the tickets for the fight were still on sale for we tried to get flights back to Vegas but they were just too expensive...One of my biggest regrets. A true boxing legend.

He did himself no favours doing that mate, but me and my coach were talking about it the other night, and he said that as much as he isnt keen on Froch, he has neve shirked anyone and has called out everyone, so you have to repsect him in a way for that. I'll be honest, Froch has grown on me, but, no, you are right, i dont think he would have beaten Calzaghe.

I think calling out fighters is the last resort of a fighter who isnt quite good enough imo

I liked COllins mate, but he timed his career well, he wasnt really going anywhere, the nas soon as Benn, Eubank etc had had to many wars he came out of the wilderness and they were shot fighters by the time he got in the ring with them, so i jsut have that niggling doubt that he was as good as some of his victories suggested. Shame about misiing the Clazaghe fight though mate, thats a once in a lifetime thing for sure! i keep saying i will go wathc floyd before he retires!

Looking for a payday! and tbf mate, at the time, Calzaghe would have been the biggest pay day Froch could have aimed for!

I agree about people jumping on the bandwagon mate, but I've been watching Ward for nearly 4 years, long before the super 6 and I honest think the Cobra is too one dimensional for this guy, I think he'll frustrate Froch and draw him into whatever type of fight he wants it to be and impose his will.

Of course if Froch lands a bif one he'll get knocked da **** out lol.

Yes mate, Kell Brook to me is better than Khan, plus he's likeable.

Eubank said Steve Collins was the hardest man he ever fought, not the hardest fight, but the hardest man!

In all fairness, Collins only suffered 3 defeats and each were to very good fighters including Mike McCallum who was a vicious puncher. He was already a world champion before he beat Eubank and Eubank was in his absolute prime whenever Collins beat him. Collin out-psyched him, remember he was coming off with that spoof about getting hypnotised and all lol. Think in one of his fights with Benn, if my memory serves me correct Benn went over on his anke and couldnt fight on, though he was en route to a defeat anyway.

Yes mate, it was after the Michael Wtson incident and Eubank was never the same fighter after that, it messed with his mental state too much for me.

    I agree mate.....

If Froch does win on Saturday, night, well I suppose it'll be the same for Ward. The next fight we'll be wantiong to see will be the winner against Lucian Bute and I think he would do the pair of them.

Bute is a true class act!

Andre Ward hsa a relentless jab, and while i think Froch is a good fighter, i think he will have to knock Ward out to win, and i cant see that happening. Ward on points for me....

Not at all, I'd rather you were honest than just agree with me for the sake of it......I can get all cliched and say styles make fights and you can only fight who's put in front of you but the truth is that it's all about opinions. Most of my mate have always said Pac Man would do Mayweather, I've always protested to the opposite. After the Marquez fight they're wavering. So it comes down to personal opinions.......and sometimes how corrupt the judges are ;-)
