I'm one of these people that has to read a book all the way through if I'm to maintain my interest as my attention span....... OOOH! OOOH!!! A BLACK DOG WITH A WHITE TAIL!!!..... Isn't the best at times. I actually can't remember the last three books I read, but the next three books I plan to read (or start reading) are:
The Girl With The Dragon TattooThe Girl Who Played With FireThe Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's NestI'm getting a load of books for Christmas too, including Baz Rathbone's which I'm looking forward to reading.

My last three were Baudolino by Umberto Eco, Great Apes by Will Self and the works of Dylan Thomas. Just started the Death of Bunny Munro by Nick Cave. Forgot what a jarring style he has.-----------------
What's the Will Self one like lid?

Once you get a couple of chapters in and you can stop imagining his whiny voice informing you how bloody clever he is with his awfully clever words, it's really good. I was reading it on my lunch at work for a while, but brought it home to give it more attention.

Because you get bought them at Christmas? it is true though, ask people their favourite films and no-one admits to anything starring Gianna Michaels, or some tat, it's always one Scorsese, one Nam film, somthing from the hood and something foreign. Same probably with books.
On the plus side I do actually read them, but only so they folk on the bus are impressed!
