Negativity Right or Wrong?

I remember at the start of the season being very negative regarding the up and coming new season,  I had the usual OGV and Sambo telling me that everything is going to be ok etc. etc . etc .  I am now glad to see them both getting angry and upset about the direction the club is heading...

My point is this, how are we (supporters) supposed to be positive when the Manager and Players cant show any positiveness in interviews and on the field???  In todays papers we have Neville again the idiot talking about what a brilliant job his brother is doing on sky sports, i mean, WTF????  Moyes then having a laugh about approaching T.Henry when he saw him at Arsenal???  Where is our pride???  Dont make a joke about our current status, we have a history of famous No9s dont take the pisss out of us ....  Its you Moyes that bought all them strikers not us, its you who failed to make it work, not us!!!   Unless we go all out and find someone this january who will help us leading the line Im afraid we could be looking at the championship!!!  Dont tell me, we will be ok bolox, where the hell are we going to get the goals from????  Every game that comes, I struggle to see where a goal will come from?  All our hope will be in a penalty or from any dead ball situations....

Frighting times ahead!  Mark my words...

Anichebe will probably be back in jan that will be moyes's excuse not to sign a striker! + it just doesn't look like any wants to play for moyes anymore. can u blame them? some of the decisions moyes has made this season r awfull! dropping players when they've played well leaving striker's on the bench an playing midfield players as strikers no wonder the confidence of every 1 is low! we need changes and quick!

problem is people have been so used to us punching above our weight it has become the norm to expect us to do well.  lets look at some facts, lescott arteta and pienaar all left for better clubs, arteta and pienaar deals especially poor what was it 12.5m for both of them and 22m from lescott went on bily hetinga and a 34 year old distin poorly spend IMO.  no strikers brouhgt in despite letting yak (9 league goals so far this season)ubu, vaughn and beckford for a combined 8m and no one being brought in now moyes complaining about lack of strikers up front.  arteta being sold on the last day of the season, if we didnt need to sell why did we let him leave when lescott said he wanted to leave he was made to train alone.  which leaves us with the crop of players we have now cahill, neville saha too old, hibbert bily not good enough, and we need 4 new strikers a new strikeforce.  and now a manager who his no longer good enough, did this guy really win LMA manager of the year twice and was linked with the united job,

the team has gone stale and the club has stagnated  we will be relegation fodder within 2-3 seasons if the current trend continues

    Rant over

A season in the Championship Might do us Good. However, i still think Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan, and Wolves are Favourites for Relegation. Next TWO matches v Norwich & Swansea will either show how Good we are........or, how Bad.

I think we should play 4-1-4-1 tbh. Control the midfield and instead of just charge down the wings like we are at the moment. We should play it out wide so we can create more time and space for the crosser and Cahill can run into the area late instead of already being in there.

The negativity and positivity is either right or wrong. It's about how you wish to support the club.

Cahill back to midfield. 4-1-4-1 looks promising.

Simple fact is if we do not get 6 points out of the next 2 games, then Moyes should quite rightly be sacked.

The thing is a formation doesn't make a team attacking or defensive it's the way it's played. During the Big Sam/ Bolton era they played 4-3-3 but it was still very defensive.

If you don't think the formation matters then why are you critising Moyes with his 451 or 460 formation. I think Formation does matter and why do clubs always play with it. Ferguson had United proving successful with a 442 but kept feeling the need to change and normally failed.

Look at the great teams and they play with 4 at the back (normally to fullbacks that over lap and support the attack, a holding mid to make sure there is cover when the full back get forward. Wide midfielders who give width and get the crosses in. A CM who acts as a playmaker and makes the late runs into the box. Up front the forward who drops back and helps create leaving the goal scorer to stay on the defencive line and whose only job is to score.

We have most the positions covered if we played the right players in the right positions and stuck to the formation.

    Howard

    Coleman - Jags - Heitinga/Distin - Baines

    Gueye - Felliani/Rodwell - Barkley/Osman - Drenthe

    Saha
    Vellios/Dennis/McAleny

We should still have a solid defence but hopefully become creative and a real threat.
