It seems that Moyes will have to sell a big name to bring in a couple of new players. I wonder if Moyes knew this at the start of the summer. I feel it's too late now to sell a big star or two in order to get spondules to buy more players. So we may as well close the laptop lid, and resign ourselves to more of the same. Mediocre displays, poor substitutions etc.
Sorry this isn't a more positive post but after watching Baggies, Sunderland, Stoke and others all bring in players I have to say mr BK I really want to know where the millions goes from Sky each year? I may be wrong but i think it's around 32 million each year = 64 mill after two years - does anyone have the actual figure?

    A message to Moyes
Well Moyes - I sure hope u can work miracles this year. One thing you should know is we will all continue supporting the team. Not so sure about Bill though anymore. But you have my support (for now) if u dont make stupid subs and play crap formations and tactics! As for selling to buy - go ahead and do it! but do it quickly!

COYB - we can still do well!

i dont mind our squad if everyone stays fit still fancy us to push for same place as last season(my expectations arent any higher havent been for a good while) i just hope we can get through this time stay in the premiership and basically survive as a club, i know its not great, but were not leeds or portsmouth YET, got to be positive for the future get behind the youngsters when they have to play, would sooner see the likes of vellios ,barkley, gueye etc get a chance rather than bring in some average player whos gonna milk 20k+ a week out the club and be no better than what we got, moyes said all along the only players he wants to bring in have got to be better than whats already in the team, so a few million quid players here and there aint gonna improve us that much if at all.
hopefully we can keep what we got any i will be HAPPY, not all doom and gloom with some of the young talent coming through so the future has plenty of promise really HONEST!!!!!

Premier League clubs have signed at most 3 or 4 players who I would like to have got! Premier League clubs have lost a lot more than

And subs/formations are not automatically crap just coz you say so - no disrespect intended like!

Lastly, you can't sell if there's no bids or no acceptable bids.

Problem i have is we have had bids for players but we ahve held out for more which has cost us long term.

Just offload Yobo and Yakubu even Beckford if need be to raise a little money to bring in Barton and Vicente.

So ya think we should accept the first offer that we get for players?
At that rate we'd have gotten about enough to buy Heitinga when we sold Lescott!

You know thats not what i'm saying.

But i do feel the extra couple of mill that Moyes squeezed out of city was negated by the poor form and morale at the start of the season which cost us the European place we could have got.

Asd for Yobo and the Yak just get rid they have cost us nearly 2 mill in wages since the end of last season.

Their values will only drop as both are in the last years of their contract.

Asd for Beckford i'm not sure Moyes will play him much thios season so get rid now.

It was a damn sight more than a couple of million.

Yobo still has 3 years to go!

And Beckford will see more pitch time than last season - or who the heck d'ya think our striker is gonna be considering Saha is sure to be out for 6 weeks for every 2 weeks he's in.

Its really nothing new to be honest.

Its no new surprise and Moyes knew it years ago.

The Rooney and Lescott sales confirm this. Had nothing to do with them personally wanting to go as the club wanted them to go aswell.

Rodwell or Felliani will be next............ Barkley in a season or two.

    Thats how we survive

Baines might seem a nice enough guy but you can only take so much before you seek greater things. He would easily be a starter of any team in the prem, if not europe. I personally rate him that highly.

As a top player you would want to be playing at the top and to achieve the best, regardless of your love for a club.

Baines is brilliant in my books. mr consistent :).

In my opinion, now that BK has laid his cards on the table and showed his hand to the world - Moyes should sell a few on the proviso that he gets the cash. Get rid of yak, yobo for starters as Milky said and perhaps billy. I would keep becks but rid of chebe's. If there is no money on the table for the next couple of years then guess what - we will be playing with a worthless pensioned bunch of players and languishing at the bottom of 'a' league. better to cash in now and build with a few younger players + what experience remains.

I dont feel Moyes can hang around. Lets face it... BK's plan isn't a short term thing. 5mil a year loss - face the facts - it will be a while before any bank gives us money and when they do it probably on a deal with an apr of 400%.

Moyes needs to offload quickly. This season he may get away with it and we may do alright but with each year our stars (aging) will slowly decrease in value. This year is really the year for action in the transfer market. MOyes strength lies in his ability to make average players greater - this has been proven with some. I think he needs to cash in on some of that great and create some more:)

Just my 2 pence in the pot :)

in the old days, leagues where won by the same 11 players playing week in week out. im not saying we will win the league or even qualify for the champions league, but if wee can keep players fit and keep our heads up despite what anyone else has to say around us then we can do well. everyone said we would never qualify for the CL but we did on a string of 1 nil wins. you only need huge squads these days when you play in europe and the other cup competitions week in week out. why dont you all look at our abilitys rather than our disabilities. we cant control what the club does but we can stand shoulder to shoulder behind it....
