Theres still about 4 billion results. Its near Kensington tube station apparently. Just weighing up whether to go down there this week. I find it easier to go to the moon than London.

Was gonna go on Thursday but its no big deal. Just the showjumping. At the minute its looking like costing a fortune and its not worth it. TBH its f'kin boring to watch. Goes on too long before you know who's won. Went to one in the summer, got there at 10AM, it finished at 9.30 PM. Lost the will to live. When my daughter competes I'm sometimes waiting round holding a bloody horse for hours.

Frankly speaking it always depends on what exactly you are looking for and what the most important criteria are to you personally ,
Location, price, food and beverage facilities, health club, business centre etc. So having said that it looks like O.G.V. Has given you a good web address to choose one.not sure that I would ever recommend the Horseguards though ? Bit of a boring concept.

The Vanderbilt on Cromwell road is a bit grotty, you can find much better for the same price.

I didnt recommend it. I simply stated that I paid £120 to stay.  Its an expensive hotel at the best of times.  It wasn't bad actually - very well located and saw the changing of the guard seconds after walking out the doors. Great view over the Thames.

The Vanderbilt is near South Kensington tube station, not next to Olympia, a few tube stations away only though.

A QUAD room ! Mate, you need a caravan ! We don't do that sort of thing down here :) Anyway, Horse Show, hotels jack up the rates threefold so forget ever getting value for money in a London Hotel, bit like asking for a decent rate at the Wembley Hilton on Cup Final weekend.

Well there's me the wife and two kids, wasn't expecting value for money, was just asking for a decent place close to the show. Its the last decent show this year and its the daughters birthday, just thought it'd be a nice surprise for her. Should have organised it months ago really. Cheers anyway. She can watch it on Sky.

Holiday inn do the best family rooms but they will rip you off for the Horse Show too, let her watch it on Sky and take her to Hickstead instead but book early !
