I was never in the army. When I said I fought for Kingmoyes it was at the battle of Rhyl, where I helped some welsh lads batter some mancs. Thought I'd wind up TKD but he's actually trying to have a proper conversation. I was asked to join the SAS once.

I heard great stories of the battle of Rhyl.

Personally, I'd of just left it......the money is in the south.

There was pride at stake, the mancs hand earrings and mullets, seemed only fair to give them a kicking. I also once caused mayhem on a dodgems ride after targetting a rightdickhead in a Man U shirt.

Ok, fair enough. Guess that bit of detail was lost in that ancient story. I always thought it was just folklore, but hey, I'm typing to a living legend!

    Can I get ya autograph?

Of course mate. Spending my childhood holidays in North Wales meant a lot hanging around arcades playing Space Invaders and battering Mancs. Wasn't much else to do, until I got into girls and spent my time being knocked back in favour of Mancs with mullets.

Was Rhyl as bad then as it is now?

Like, a real proper fuckingdump? lol

Used to live up near Wrexham (Llangollen), and my ex decided to take me there one summers day, she was bigging it up and everything.
When we got there, I saw a shittylittle seaside, a row of run down arcades, a few contaminated looking chip shops and some tower thing that looked like it had seen better days.....

Back then it was kind of alright, but I came from a shittyhousing  estate in Liverpool, we used to stay near Conwy and get the train to Rhyl. There used to be this BMX hire place and kind of a big wooden thing to ride around. Last time I went there was for a sea fishing trip and yes, it was a dump. Llangollen is a funny place, people drive there then wonder why they did. I like North Wales though, it is a lovely place. People could do with cheering up a bit though. Blaenau Ffestiniog may be the worst place on the planet.

See, I really liked my time in Llangollen.
It was small, quiet, scenic, good pubs.

North Wales is a nice place, fair play.

I suppose it depends what you prefer.
I was raised in the South, in a real poor Valley. Done a good stint in Cardiff and loved it, because of the money was there, the nightlife, the atmosphere.

But then I liked the North, because of the points above related to Llangollen.

Yeah, its a lovely little town, but after driving there you kind of think, is that it? Probably better for the inhabitant than the visitor. I very nearly moved to Porthmadog a few weeks ago.

Guess your right....can run 1 end of "town" to the other end in like 2mins flat! lol

Never tried Porthmadog. What's it like there then?

Scenary wise its lovely, and not a bad little town, got a Tesco and everything. There was a property available, with land and seaviews and it was dirt cheap. Was just too far from places I need to do business in.
