thats something i've wondered over the past few years.....as regards our injury history.....i know all teams have their injuries, but we seem unluckier than most......so is there any link with the way we train, and the way we warm up before games?.....(remember the season we suffered "freak" long term injuries to Arteta, Jags & Yakubu).....

to be honest, i used to wonder if Mick Rathbone was doing his job properly in previous seasons, but seems the trend is continuing....

or is it that we play players despite the medical advice being to rest them for another few weeks?......

well mick will pick them up AFTER they're injured however the sports scientist now should be monitoring a players physical development and medical history and planning their schedules accordingly...imo..

i seem to remember jack having a lower back problem which is a clear indicator for future hamsting injuries...therefore his warm up and cool down should be appropriate for this type of injury ...imo...

Moyes will be crying now his favourite player Osman is out. That means other injuries permitting, the team will most probably be:
    Howard
    Hibbert
    Distin
    Jagielka
    Baines
    Neville
    Heitinga
    Drenthe
    Coleman
    Fellaini
    Cahill

Ossie and Jack are two of our better players, I just hope that Drenthe is back and I really hope Saha doesn't return.

I think the warm ups are cr@p
they dont do enough running and stretching imo . I used to do taekwondo self defense.it involvd quite a bit of running followed by lots of stretches to help with flexibility and injury prevention.

maybe i dont get in the ground early enough but i dont see much running followed by stretching. everton seem to  spend ten minutes passing it around defenders v midfielders  running around like headless chickens etc then laying it off and having a shot then down to the right corner to do those silly moves with the cones.

I think there needs to be more structure to the warm ups but I may be wrong I don't know much about football warmups.
you may have a good point though!
