    then richardkeys posted a pic of a wall and was mouthing off about heysel.

    not funny or banter- my second cousin went to that match. never spoke about it again and never followed liverpool in europe again either.
    when people mouth off about heysel its as if theyr calling my family murderers cos its aimed at everyone liverpool supporter and it makes my f,ucking blood boil

    It may not be funny or banter, and no one here thinks it is. It did actually happen though, like it or not. I too had family at the game and they were disgusted with their fellow RS supporters who to this day try to pretend they had nothing to do with it. What makes my blood boil is the way that the RS say justice for the 96 ( and I had family there too) but simply disregard what happened to the Italian families. Double standards.....

    your acting as if all hooligans and innocent supporters are pidgeon holed together, when they're not. They are two different subjects.
    That's my point though- people mouthing off about heysel are calling ALL liverpool supporters murderers. Not all of them are, a minority are.
    The innocent one's eg my second cousin and your family should not be seen in the same light, they are a seperate but unfortunately loads of idiots seem to think they're all hooligans and murderers.
    And I'll tell you what liverpool fans have every right to ask for JFT96. and many I know are disgusted and ashamed about so called liverpool fans causing the problems at  heysel and causing there whole support to have such an awful reputation

    maybe the reason why the liverpool fans you know dont accept or admit heysel as their fault that much is because they see themselves (eg the innocent ones) as a different group to the other liverpool fans.
    eg they come under the same term "liverpool supporters" but to them they are the "true supporters" which make up the support and the hooligans and trouble makers are simply the minority that make up the other part of the support base. From a neutral point of view I can undersand it if lets say some **** blinded saurez when they threw the coins onto the pitch, and the whole country hated everton fans for it, would you say that we'd associate ourselves as the same group in the support base or not??
