December 2011 I find it funny how RKs has made the original comments that sparked the fury of this thread then fhucked off and now its 4 pages long.deliberate tactics to sit back and wind everyone up???
face it if he hadnt said anything then this could have ended up a dead thread like....

December 2011 Liverpool have several players better than Everton do but not left back. Baines is our talisman without doubt. We have decent young players and in 5 or 6 years time if we havn't sold them will give us a great team but in the meantime I imagine you could come up with a reasonable argument for superiority in many postions but no way that one.
To start an argument based around Baines being worse than Enrique is just daft.. Its like us saying Anichebe is better than Suarez.
Baines has been the mutts for years as well.. not just one dcent start to a season.

adam - He's a disgrace of a footballer. Fat and Useless but occasionally whips in a decent corner 

Bellamy has been going for years and I can't remember him scoring a free kick. 

So yes Baines win hand down.

Baines would take free kicks for us, I admit that, but Adam scored a fair few free kicks last year and has made a good start at Liverpool, and Bellamy scored a 35 yarder of a FK on his debut for Cardiff last year, and hit the bar with one from 40+ yards in the League Cup.

on behalf of decent evertonians, I am sorry. this is out of order it was a discussion about football it was not too hostile and thats gone and ruined it.

December 2011 And on the topic of overhyping players, Everton fans might be a bit guilty of that. Apparently Vellios is the next big thing because he can score a couple of tap-ins to fend off the competition of Saha and McFadden. Wouldn't get my hopes up.
